then as an answer to him some of the scribes and pharisees said: teacher, we want to see a sign from you.
in reply he said to them: a wicked and adulterous generation keeps on seeking for a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of jonah the prophet.

nor should we ignore the assistance of any of god's children in seeking an understanding of the scriptures, but we should give attention to them only so far and so long, as they teach and explain the bible, in harmony with the bible.

I know that I have already commented on this, but WTWizard, I agree and I do not believe there is anything to suggest that can be a true story. It is worse than one of their goofy dramas where they bring a first century scene into the modern day world. This is as bad as the story from a few months back (June 15 th tower) that has an elder swimming out into the ocean who doesn't have the sense to know not to swim out beyond what is safe and sees a shark. Ohhh! what a lesson he learned and was able to pass on to all those who couldn't dream of a holiday to an exotic location about the dangers of straying off into the dark waters, err I guess actually the world

Both of these are so obviously make up stories. It wouldn't be so bad if the presented them as illustrations but rather they just lie with a straight face.

(after all, they could talk to each other).
but many would "treat" other disfellowshipped just like the witnesses would.

I was just thinking though that in one way it is more honourable and honest then those that would shun until it was their child or refuse to go to the funeral of one who committed suicide until it was their family or make a big deal about supporting the efforts of a union action til it affected them or (fill in the blanks __________)

I know that this is off topic, but having found such a profound intellect, I would like to ask a question. One of the false doctrines of these evil ones is that we have a soul.
