  sexual exploitation and abuse of six young children leads to lawsuit in dallas county.

  dallas, oct. 23, 2014 /news.gnom.es/ six young adults, from north texas, all sexually abused as children, filed suit today in dallas, texas state court against three north texas jehovahs witnesses congregations (dallas, plano, and greenville), the watchtower bible and tract society of new york, and an elder.. sexually abused when they were ages 4 through 14, the plaintiffs were children of members of the dallas, plano, and greenville jehovahs witnesses congregations.

  the suit states that they were repeatedly sexually abused and molested by an elder and an unknown regional circuit overseer, and that they and their families were threatened with discipline and harm if they disclosed the abuse to anyone.

  at the international convention last week i caught up with my old congregation and asked about the young ones...there were 2 answers.

  1. they flat out left got a boyfriend etc.

  and 2. havent seen them for awhile meaning they faded or went off the grid so as not to be disfellowshipped.

  Drying up here in NZ too. When I joined as a teenager our congregtion had a lots of young ones, now only about 1 in 3 (or less) of these are still going to meetings.

  Convention Stadium is double booked?

  our convention is this coming weekend (17th - 19th oct) and is being held at the forsyth barr stadium, dunedin, new zealand.

  at the same time our nz rugby itm cup is having its semi final round.

  This would have been interesting. Our convention is this coming weekend (17th - 19th Oct) and is being held at the Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin, New Zealand. At the same time our NZ rugby ITM cup is having its semi final round. Now if the Dunedin home team (Otago) were to host this semifinal, it would have been played at the Forsyth Barr Stadium on the same weekend as the convention. According to the Stadium Management "A window had been secured before the convention was booked to have the ground free for a game to be played at the covered stadium. It was expected to be played on the afternoon or evening of Saturday, October 18". The interesting thing about this is that the convention program for Saturday finishes at 7pm leaving no time to set up for a rugby game that day.

  The Otago rugby team have not make it to the semifinals, if they had it would have made for some interesting fast planning to be made to host both these events at the same time in the same stadium.

  Looks like Jehovah made sure that Otago did not make it to the ITM cup rugby semifinals.

  Be careful, the Watchtower will know where you are, and track you down by using that view. LOL.

  Saturday morning field service is a joke

  i havent been going door to door saturday mornings for since i can't remember when.

  i have been putting in regular reports to the congregation but the last time i actually went on a door was probably six months ago or so and it has been at least 2 years since i did a saturday morning.

  9:30 we showed up to the group arrangement, we waited outside because we were not sure that it was the right place.

  It certainly is a joke, I try not to go out but I get the guilt talk, so to keep the peace I go out. What irratates me is when we are working house over house with another couple or two, these others always seem to walk very slow or stand around on the street talking to each other. leaving us to do about 7 out of every 10 houses. If the others are pioneers then our house rate that I knock on is closer to 4 out of every 5 houses on the street.

  No matter how manys hours or not a month I do, I only report 1 hr. No one else in my congregation have got the Biblical right to judge my spiritually / relationship with Jehovah based only on the field service hours I do. Unfortunately that now appears to be the way we are looked upon (Judged) in the congregation.

  what the hell is going on here?

  i drove past the assembly hall today and noticed the square blue jw.org signs on the building.

  coupled with the steel gate that keeps worldlings out, it really looks quite cultish.. so is that the new name for the kingdom halls or something?

  The Hall near here had one put on 3 weeks ago now, its about 4 - 5 metres off the ground.

  it's no secret that the wtbts has a cash flow problem.

  over the past three years they have closed 20 of their 116 branches.

  they have sold off most of their properties in and around ny (including some kingdom halls), drastically reduced the # of printed pages for the watchtower and awake magazines, reduced the printing of books and other materials, increased the number of single page tract campagnes, installed cc machines at their assembly halls, and are now seizing of controll of property assets from local kingdom halls using renovation projects.

  Not sure what details are in your book about the WTBTS, but there are reports on this site and You Tube that they are coming down on people with copyright notices who quote from their material and are using it in a negative way.
