Para 5 was as far as I got in this study. When it was read out at the meeting and disfellowshipping was applied to Aarons son's situation, I had to read the full quote from Leviticus 10:1 - 11 to see how it can be connected. Part way thou WT study para 5 it says "What a test of faith it was for Aaron and his family not to mourn their dead relatives!". WHERE in this Bible passage does it say this?. Infact Lev 10:6 says the exact opposite. "Your family—all of Israel’s house—will mourn the burning the Lord has done. The revised NWT is a bit foggy with this vs, the original NWT and all other translations I have checked all comfirm that Aaron and his family were to mourn the death of Aarons sons. This is an extreme case of how the WT twist the meaning of the scriptures in an effort to prove teachings that they are holding onto. So sad. And the average JW would just lap this nonsence up. -

How do you indeed to do this? You are very unlikely be picked to comment during the meeting, and if you do get to comment, they won't ask you again if your words don't match what the WT teaches. When talking to people after the meeting, as soon as you start to talk about your (reason for going to the meeting) your topics, you will be judged as being an interested person who has still got a lot to learn, or an apostate. You will be judged an apostate if you bring up anything about WT in a negative way. So all in all, I think you will be wasting your time.

Kingdom melodies / B4 Copyright/JW`s stealing melodies/anyone remember this ?
by smiddy ini can recall sometime ago in the 60`s 70`s or theirabouts,it when they first printed their own songbook must have been before the org.copyrighted their material,and the reason they did that is because some brothers were stealing the tunes ?
maybe modifying them and passing them off as their own for commercial gain?
( i know some of you are going to say wtf ?

No longer to use "house to house record" slips and "please follow up slips"!
by stuckinarut2 ina letter has just been read out indicating that effective immediately, witnesses are no longer to use the s-8 slip known as the "house to house" record slip, as well as the s-43 "please follow up" slip (usually used for foreign language people).. the letter stated that this is because of the changes in privacy laws etc that are becoming common in the world today.. i will try and get a copy of the full letter and post it asap.. .

This was read out at out meeting tonight in New Zealand. We are also told to destroy any copies that we may have of this slip. All copies in our kh have been destroyed. No reason why was given, but more information will come out in the weeks to come. Maybe they not sure what scriptural twist to apply to this new light for us down here in this part of the world.

Hypocritical video on jw.org "what's a real friend."

it is one of the most hypocritical pieces they have produced!.
it goes into detail explaining that real friends "don't judge you, dont talk about you behind your back, don't hold grudges, don't expect you to conform, and encourage individuality!".

I had often tried to figure this out, is it the anointed? No, to many.
It can’t be those to live forever on earth because there were not millions Witness’s alive then. Could it be the angels?
Well finally I’ve got to have a look into this little gem of Watchtower history.
There are some classic quotes in this publication. But I’m going to go straight to the answer.To start with, there is interesting point to note on pg 94: “The church systems would have the people believe that only those who become church members can be saved. The Bible never taught any such doctrine".
Thats interesting, because we are told today that only JWs can be saved.
Anyway, Now for the answer. Who are these Millions living who will never die?.
On pg 97:
“Based upon the argument here to set forth,
then, that the old order of things, the old world,
is ending and is therefore passing away, and
that the new order is coming in, and that 1925
shall mark the resurrection of the faithful
worthies of old and the beginning of reconstruction,
it is reasonable to conclude that millions
of people now on the earth will be still on the
earth in 1925. Then, based upon the promises
set forth in the divine "Word, we must reach the
positive and indisputable conclusion that millions
now living will never die.
WOW, so that was it, In 1920 those Millions of people (not only members of the then International Bible Students, but all kinds of
church members) would still be alive in 1925 to survive on into the new system to take place in 1925. -

this means they will lose millions of dollars in lawsuits and settlements.
which means their financial stability is under threat.

Didnt Babylon the Great fall in or around 1918? when the WT leaders (at that time) were released from prison? I'm sure I've read that in a WT book sometime over the last 25 years.
