  logged into a zoom 'pep talk' from one of the local elders last night.

  about 9 families were connected via zoom which was pretty cool.

  however the information shared was even better.

  they were told to risk imprisonment to keep meeting and preaching because "we must obey god rather than men".

  while here in the u s. we voluntarily cancel meetings and preaching because "we need to be in subjection to the superior authorities".

  if the holy spirit is an "active force", how can it be grieved (ephesians 4:30)?.

  in other words, according to the jw's, one can make jehovah's "force" sorrowful?

  this is an example of how the jw leaders have perverted the gospel in translation, and have put the jw's in a position in which they must perform intellectual gymnastics in order to maintain their false position.

  JW's can you confirm:

  It is my understanding that JW's no longer baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Mt. 28:19), but now baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Spirit-directed Organization. Is this true?

  No, not true. But they have removed the reference to "Gods spirit directed organization" in the baptism question. The name of the Father, Son, Holy spirit remain.

  Corona beer sales vs coronavirus ?

  i`m just curious as to whether the corona beer sales have plummeted since this coronavirus has spread in different parts of the world .. it wouldn`t surprise me if sales had a nose dive since this outbreak and just wondered if anybody has any information concerning this ?.
