but oh the throngs of hundreds of thousands of the choicest class of people out of all the nations that now crowd the house of jehovahs worship, and these being added to by the thousands from year to year!

The most inappropriate remarks from Jehovahs Witnesses
by jambon1 ini have a few which still either anger me, make me sad or just make me grateful that i am no longer one of them.
1 - "well, everyone is going to die anyway, so if it at armageddon then ce la vie" 2 - "the disater today at the world trade centre is sad, but exciting" 3 - (an elder) "when armageddon happens, i want to be at a window, watching it all".

2) Another sister "Heres a secret, I have heard from some people high up in America that Armageddon is very close"
3) Same sister, You forget those that have left the organisation because it the way Jehovah works"

Interesting find that other site that is linking to your pdfs. I also see that they are using links to other sites also. I personally do not mind this but it would be best if they passed the credit on to where this imformation came from.They are making it sound like they are doing all the hard work.

july 07 had 12868 pubs, whereas aug 07 had 13852 pubs.
the same increase happened in the previous service year in the last month.

So the same person gets counted 2X in Aug because an earlier report was missed. That would be OK for the year average, but not as the total # of pubs for that month.
Wait an see, next months report will be back down to that of July. -10% or a lost of 1000 pubs. At least its Incouraging to see this all time new peak for Aug

The longest prayer ever ...
by Vivamus inthe memory of this just popped back into my mind.. i was at a 3 day congress, and the ending prayer was said by this really old brother.
he was one of the survivors of wo ii concentration camps were he was put for being a jw.. anyway, the poor man started his prayer with thanking jah, and then he recalled every piece and play of the three day congress.
i bet the man had written his prayer on paper and rehersed it each day adding a new 15 minutes to it ... he even mentioned a part where a witness lady replayed an incident on the street - she gave witness to by-standers - and one of the people she talked to had a stuffed dog.

I remember a prayer that was getting lengthly and the bro said "In the name of Jesus Christ" (Everyone else said Amen) and the prayer conditued so we had to wait for him to say the real "In the name of Jesus Christ" about a minute or so later.
