  yes, i too have wondered how an assembly that is held in a fully paid for assembly hall, with no food service, could possibly have $10,000 in expenses.

  i suppose the bethel speakers have transportation expenses - maybe $1000 or so.

  as for rent on the assembly hall, well you have already paid for it once, why pay again?

  Yes, that was in this weeks WT. But used in reverse by jw.org. it was in reference to someone studying with a jw and then the family of that study not liking what was happening, so the family stopped associating with them.

  Anointed rule as soon as they get to heaven. Is this another flip flop ?

  i remember hearing that the anointed that died would start ruling at the start of the thousand year reign.

  now it seems they are teaching that these deluded bozos that die get to rule right now in heaven.

  when did this teaching change?

  Another JW Literature Trolly Experience

  this morning i stopped at dollar general to get a cheap container for waste paper.

  it was 11:30 am and there were two jw literature trolleys parked near the store and manned by three jws, on old man in a rolling chair, a 30 something man, and 30 something woman.

  as i walked by them i glanced at the their literature rack and proceeded into the store.. i was in the store for 20 minutes and made my purchase.

  My copy of the RNWT Bible was made in Japan, Way better quality. Sounds like you need to ask for one that was made in Japan.

  Do not listen to the outside noise, stay focused on keeping up with jehovahs fast moving org. Blessing that blethlites have experienced since moving from bethel shows jehovah is blessing these ones and more.

  Current jws are forbidden to talk about scriptural doctrines online because all the true facts only come from the jw leaders. Coming to sites like this one could make current jws question weather the jw leaders are telling us the facts. Not aloud to question them or you could get kicked out of this organization.

  Peer Pressure amongst witnesses

  have you noticed just how strong peer pressure is amongst witnesses?.

  the desire to match or better one another's "spiritual accomplishments" or decisions in life?.

  pioneering - because it is the "right" thing to do.. answering at meetings...perhaps multiple times - because it is the "right" thing to do.. choice of employment.
