It is now available to watch on jw.org, watched it today as part of the Saturday afternoon convention program, last talk. He has lots to say to scare witnesses, to stop them from looking outside the words of WT.

I think Splane is the Cult Leader. And I think there are more apostates working on the inside than we can imagine.
by pistolpete inso in the latest leaked video, splane goes on this crazy delusional rant about how faithful witnesses should never research their faith.. he criticizes the worldly court system and says they are not fair toward witnesses and the organization.
he says the court system is rigged and witnesses who get convicted, (implied child sex abusers) are innocent.
he is literally trying to justify child molesters and elders who cover them, as good people in "god's eyes" even though "human authorities" may judge them and put them in jail.

Not on that link either. But can be found using the search option on your link. Interesting to read the comments at the bottom of that article. Most people are saying they don't have an issue with those letters.
But I'm surprised we don't hear more about this over the media. This area is getting covered about ever 6 months with a letter.

Yes, hours are still recorded and reported back to HQ. Hours spent on phone calls and letter writing. 4 to 5 hand written letters per hour.

What are your personal reasons for hating the Jehovah's Witnesses religion ?
by Rocketman123 infirst thing comes to mind is that this organization through its leaders are not witnessing the true and honest version of the gospel teachings of jesus christ .. they are subjectively teaching/preaching a tainted version made up by the top controlling men of the organization, which i'm sure is connected to the proliferation and distribution of literature which these men publish themselves.
.
when jesus said that no one knows of the time not even he, he didn't say a select few will know .. the other thing that bothers me is this organization promotes human ignorance on many levels, admonishing education or knowledge that mankind needs for its very survival... there are many other religious organizations that do this as well but the jws is just one of these organizations.

There are lots of minor ones that make me shake my head. The most recent, our congregation had an excessive amount of donations saved up, thats on top of and over the monthly payments being made to the branch, the resolution was to gift the extra $$ to WT. Meanwhile there are some in the congregation that dont have much money, who are having too spend $$ of what little money they have on stamps to use with letter writing witnessing. It made more sense to me to use the extra donations to go toward local witnessing, not somewhere thats never to be seen again.

Does this look like the WT is going to be around a long time? One Watchtower @ One Awake for the public in 2022
by pistolpete ini keep hearing that the watchtower org is going to be around forever because of the many other religions that have been around a long time.
but i disagree because the wt is not like other religious cults.. the watchtower's breath of life is dependent on the last days that started in 1914. .
you can’t change 1914 without a death blow to the entire organization.. the watchtower's 2nd reason for staying alive, is it's continual urging that the life saving preaching work of warning people is the most important work ever.. but- it's very obvious to many, even the old ones that instead of speeding up the work------the work is slowing down to a drip.. comment by former believer; .

Brilliant Sloppyjoe. It makes so much sense now...this clarification regarding the last days shows the urgency of our times.

Why No Disfellowshipping Before 1952?
by blondie inwhy was there no official arrangement before 1952 to disfellowship people?
was there a different procedure with a different name?
was no one committing disfellowshipping offenses?

Today we can't kill apostates, but we can at least disfellowship them!"
I would say most disfellowshipped apostates are falsely labeled apostate to put fear in current jws from listening to them, and learning facts about WT that WT need to keep hidden. Can't have to many people learning TTATT.

Kingdom Hall in Barrington, Illinois
by Expanded-Mind ini often drive past a kingdom hall in barrington, illinois, where, when i was still a witness, i had visited a few times.
it wasn't too far from the hall i attended and we got to know people from this congregation.. i recently passed it by and it appeared there was a new sign in place.
yesterday i decided to pull into the parking lot on my way home, and it appears that the hall has been sold and is now occupied by seventh day adventists (i did a check online when i got home).

Let's not support Babylon the Great by entering one of their second hand op shops and purchasing a shirt.
If your work gets a contract to perform any building maintenance on a church, thats not allowed because that's promoting false worship.
Selling KHs and other WT buildings to religious organizations is totally fine.

What made you walk out on the "Truth"?
by Overrated ini had a legal divorce from my ex wife( law of the land).
i was told not to expect to get remarried because my divorce was not legal to watchtower.. my divorce and situation seem to be a talk of gossip and even a many local needs talks.
i wanted to take some more schooling to get a better job, there was a local needs talk on higher education and it's dangers.

Some of us can't walk out without running the risk of losing close family. The question aimed at me would be, "what made me wake up to the truth about the truth?".

What Do You Know of JWs Getting Away With Stuff?
by minimus ini realized that teenagers and young witness adults were getting away with murder per my daughter.
she told me that all these exemplary young people featured at assemblies and conventions were not real good examples.
after she got married years ago to a “ worldly “ man, she told me about all the kids who were fornicating and getting drunk and high, including elder’s kids.

The same was going in the congregation I first attended when I joined WT in my early 20s, was told through my Bible study that witnesses don't have sex before marriage, drunkenness is forbidden. Then I started getting to know and hanging around with the young JW crowd, first thing I remember saying to myself after spending my first weekends with them as a new JW, was that these people aren't any different, they are all heavily drinking and swearing. I was surprised 😮. Then as time went by, and getting to know the young ones better, I started hearing about who had done what to who sexually, even out country witnessing, I even walked in on my first witness girlfriend at it with a single brother who had only moved into our congregation a week earlier. I know a lot more that never got reported, then there were those who did get their names mentioned (reproved) at the meetings. Thinking back, there was a high percentage doing these things.
I did type up more real life experiences in this post, but after reading them, I decided to delete them, it sounded like it could be made up, even though it wasn't.
