Thanks. The cheapest return ticket I could find from Baltimore to Dallas was Northwest at $307. I'm not sure if this is good or not since I haven't flown in 12 years.

Why are the Old and New Testaments in the same book?
by sonnyboy ini'm not sure why christians study and quote from both the old and new testaments.
it's my understanding that the ot applies only to hebrews.
in the nt, jesus supposedly created a new covenant, so many of the old laws don't apply.. the old and new testaments seem to represent two distinct religions.

by embalmed inafter years of waiting, i finally turned 18. i remember distinctly that my mother said during an argument that i would not have to attend meetings once i turned 18. well that was a lie.
she denied ever having said such, and pulled the "under my roof" card.
so now she is saying i have to continue attending meetings until i move out.

Well, you could first try reasoning with your mom. She's obviously doing it because she wants you to "live forever in paradise on Earth" (barf). Tell her that Jehobah knows what's in your heart, and her focing you to go won't score you any more brownie points than if you don't go. Tell her it's simply making you hate the religion even more.
If that doesn't work, get disfellowshipped. Start taking Tai Kwan Do, donating time and money to the Catholic church, and getting involved in politics, and make sure everyone knows about it. If that doesn't get you DFed, start fornicating with on of the elders' sons or daughters and light up a joint during service when you let everyone know.

New System Sewage
