  was it really so peaceful before 1914?.

  the society loves to claim there was an unprecedented amount of peace prior to 1914 and that wwi was a complete shock to the world when it began.

  In some countries parents only want male children (e.g. China). What would happen to the female population if they were able to genetically manipulate their offspring to be only male?

  On a tangent from that idea, what would happen to the WORLD population if we were able to genetically cure all diseases in the womb? We'd have nowhere to put everyone and our natural resources would be quickly depleted.

  Scientists are so quick to come up with ideas that will prolong our lives, but they don't even seem to be considering how to prolong the life of our planet. That's like finding a way to produce a healthier egg while disregarding the crumbling shell.

  my old man always wanted to meet the apostles who were fishermen 'cause he likes to fish.

  i used to picture myself when i was a little kid holding hands with job and moses skipping through the gumdrop forest and petting an alaskan brown bear completly unafraid of bodily harm whilst the 1800 lb bruin grazes peacefully in the pasture.

  please read again genesis 1:26

  this is very interesting paragraph and many times is being used as a proof of trinity as it says let us create .

  the witnesses say that they put the kingdom first in their lives, and that the rest of the world puts pleasures and money and sex first.. a kind of black and white picture of them and the world.. so, you evil people .

  I have absolutely no priorities whatsoever.

  I take things one day at a time and do whatever comes to mind. There are no boring plans; there is no structure. That's the problem with the world today: too many people have become walking computers and have no sense of self.

  I guess if I had to define priorities in my life, they would be:

  1) Stay happy.

  2) Stay alive.

  3) Pay the bills frequently enough to keep my things from being repossessed.

  I would say that the motive would be to get people back into the cult, but in this case it sounds more like a spiteful, vengeful post.

  Very passive-aggressive (or maybe plain old aggressive depending on how you look at it).

  Covert Field Service tactic

  here's an idea i thought of for those of us still associated with the jws and going in field service:.

  1. write the url to this site, quotes, silentlambs, etc.

  on post-it notes (little yellow sticky papers).. 2. put the post-it notes inside the folded portion of a tract, or first page of wt magazine.. 3. leave the tract or magazine at not-at-homes.. in the chance the householder peruses the litter-ature rather than trash it, they will see the note and possibly visit the referenced website.
