My Dad called
by Elsewhere inthe other day i sent my family a framed studio photograph that i had made for them.. i called to make sure they got it and my mom said that she did and that it was placed with the other family photos in the living room.. a few days later my dad called to thank me.
he then went off into a tangent about how he wants me to come back to the "truth".
i told him that i respect his right to believe as he will, but i expect the same in return.

FIR TREE (Mysterious) - extraordinary taste,
dignity, sophisticated, loves anything beautiful,
moody, stubborn, tends to egoism but cares for those
close to them, rather modest, very ambitious, talented,
industrious, uncontested lover, many friends, many foes,
very reliable.Hmmmmm.... don't agree with everything... taste, yes,
sophisticated, naw... ambitious, well, kind of... talented,
in some fields, maybe... many friends, not really...
reliable : Yes. -

Who would you most like to meet.?
by JBean ini'm just curious...if you had the opportunity, who on this board would you like to meet if given the chance (or could without getting "in trouble"!)?
(could be serious, could be fun...) i for one, am just sooo curious to meet the cat himself... just to find out if he's much different in person than in his online persona!
...and maybe pet him a few times in the process...

Farkel,
Celia,
You'd probably like me in person. You ARE near-sighted, aren't you?Did you forget that you showed us a pic. of yourself some time ago ?
You didn't look bad at all... As I had predicted in that long disappeared post : an aging Roy OrbisonI am not near-sighted. But since last year I need reading glasses

Aaaah... QuickBooks !
Sorry, I can't help you. I just started to help with the accounting of a small non-profit organization, and that's what they use.
Nobody knows how to use it correctly or to its full potential. I hope to be able to take a class at the end of the month, 4 days. It seems like an easy and fun program to use to keep track of your books. -

Status Report on NOT Smoking
by MrMoe inwell, folks, i am still holding on.... the intense cravings that last 30 seconds to 3 minutes is not what is tough.
what is tough is the confusion and weird feeling and the fact i feel like killing somebody.
i feel like i am on a mild hallucinogenic.

Great idea, show real life cases and stories to co-workers or neighbors. They sure will have interesting questions or remarks for the next JWs who knock on their doors !
