  how many poor gullible farmers paid extra for charles russells miracle wheat, only to find out that it performed no better, and more than likely, worse than many other less expensive varieties of wheat?.

  how many egyptians used feet and inches to measure the pyramids centuries or millennia before such a system was invented?.

  how many witnesses read the stone bible.. how many planets in how many galaxies did god look at before deciding to live on alcyone in the pleiades constellation?.

  I've been studying.........

  i have been studying with the jw's for several years.

  they have been pressuring me to become one of them, but something seems to be holding me back, instinct maybe?

  i agree a lot of their teaching are good, and i'm sure are the truth but here are a few of the things that bother me: jw's use the scripture hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the gathering of yourselves together...... to justify their meetings.

  Well I don't know about you, but I would ask them not to visit you uninvited. Particularly not at your place of work !
  Tell them that you need some space for a while, as you are trying to figure out some things for yourself.
  Don't let them pressure you !
  Be firm !

  How many JW `classes 'are there?

  Church of Nativity Burns, No Christian Outcry?

  well, now that yasser has left, there's fires burning around the church of the nativity.

  one question i have is, where is the outcry from all those that believe jesus was born there and it is indeed a holy site?

  i would think they would be up in arms...some literally.

  It sure would be a shame if those buildings were destroyed.
  Not because they're holy, but because they've been there such a long time.
  It's always sad when old buildings are destroyed.
  The whole conflict is a shame.
  I don't see an end to it.
  But in the early 80s, I would never have believed that the Berlin Wall would ever come down !

  i'm usually terrified of talking to american ladies on the telephone, then get completely gobsmacked when i hear that gorgeously sexy accent purring down the phone.. does anyone know what i mean?.

  if you could specify, which accents from around the world do you enjoy hearing lots of?

  can you use words to describe that accent?.
