  the other day my spouse heard a report on npr about the french government fining the watchtower millions of us dollars (40 million?

  ) for the so-called contributions they squeeze out of people.

  did anyone reading this hear that report?

  Interesting newspaper title......

  snow job .

  seen today in the regional daily newspaper.... .

  when i first looked at that page, the first two letters were hidden by another page of the paper..... and it is a title in large, bold print.... and it was written by someone from this board.... (not a regular anymore)... i just wonder if he is responsible for the title of his well written article about people who plow driveways in the winter here in new england....

  Yes, interesting votes after town meeting, I guess.
  I knew that people were trying to oust M. from his position on the RSB. I was told a week before that we should all go vote for XXX cause the board is much too conservative, etc. She didn't know that I am M.'s wife...

  what kind of dogs to you people have, and describe their personalities.. i have two jack russell terriers(jrt) ans one black pomeranian.. god, the two jrts are a riot!

  dudley is the older one(5) and is the boss.he is faster and stronger than edgar.

  dudley generally let's edgar chew on him, but when dudley gets pissed, he kicks edgar's ass.

  TR, what a cute dog...
  I have an ugly, old mongrel...
  black and some tan, a mix of german shepard, black lab and who knows what else...
  I love him dearly, adopted him as a 5 weeks old pup. He was going to be abandoned or worse...
  He is 11 y.o. and has diabetes since last november, wakes me up every night once or twice, cause he needs to pee all the time, he drinks gallons of water... always hungry, has lost wight...
  When he dies, I'd like a small dog, this one is 80 Pounds.

  my biggest question about jw is regarding the 144,000 from revelations.

  how could john know exactly how many people were there?

  how did he know that they were representing the 12 tribes of israel?

  I have heard them explain that the virginity issue has nothing to do with sexual intercourse but has to do with spiritual purity in worship .much like the apostle paul talked about in 2corinthians :11-2.

  How can they give this explanation if it says.... "Tese that were not defiled with women"...How should we understand "defiled with women" then ?
