  on the way to dropping my wife off at work this morning, we stopped at an intersection near a funeral home which is constructed very similarly to many kingdom halls.

  the following conversation took place:.

  me: "that funeral home always reminds me of a kingdom hall.".

  Because your personal quest for hall of shame towards others makes you insensitive and beyond compare. To think that to turn a blind eye to human compassion, despite and to compound your debauched sense of reasoning is traveling towards roads less taken by the merciful and publicly human people that make up society.. so as you want to know, yes, you dont have a clue about the sensitivity of others.

  The most strangest sounds I ever heard ........

  i had an experience last night which was the strangest thing i have heard / felt for years ............. i had shared a bottle of white wine with my wife (i know that "tunes down" the whole thing, but man!

  half a bottle of wine produces nothing like that ....), she went upstairs to go to bed, it was 10:45 at night, and i let the dog out in the garden for her usual you-know-what.

  25 metres away is a small road, there are houses around, and 50 metres down to my left another small road departs.. i had been out 10 seconds, when suddenly very loud noices were all around, like - please don't laugh - santa claus with his sleigh came down the road, like sleigh bells sort of, but much louder and more distinct.

  i just watch the montel williams show on "the catholic church: scandal and sin".

  "its a scandal shrouded in secrecy that many believe the roman catholic church has enabled...meet alleged victims of sexual abuse and hear the churchs response.

  " i just sent him a response in regards to the fact that the catholic church is not the only religion that has covered sexual abuse in its ranks.

  By disfellowshipping the person, the congregation is protected as there is no contact with that person.

  Ok, yes, maybe, because you shun DF persons... but what about the pedophile who is not DF, because the child who came forward did not have 2 witnesses ? and you can't spread rumors now, can you? The elders can't even warn parents in the congregation that so-and-so may have a problem and it would be better not to let him near the children... and as long the proper authorities (police) is not contacted in such cases, what about other kids who live near the pervert ?

  In some cases, yes, maybe, the molester has been DF.... to be reinstated a few months later...and nobody in the congregation was told about his "sin", so parents could not protect their children from the pedophile...and the public the molester meets (in the door-to-door work) does not know the JW peddling Watchtowers and Awakes! at their door is a child abuser...
  So, tell me again, what is the big difference ?

  Good for you. People need to know.
  Rank and File JWs are the ones who must learn about what has been going on in their ranks... most of them are clueless. They are so certain things like that would never happen amongst Jehovah's people... they're blind.
  But of course, the JWs are such a minuscule sect, who else cares ?
  No comparison with the huge Catholic church...
  This is big news !

  well, you can all kiss my ring now that i have become don valis...form one line to the left please.....just got back from meeting my lovely godchild mina katherine abston in arlington va/baltimore md..oh and i even got to read from the lectern...twice...i'm sure the holy water was boiling and sacrament soured just as soon as i walked in the door at saint michael and all angels episcopalian.

  take a good look, because i sincerly doubt any of you will ever see me in dress up any time soon.. .

  Just so you know,(because obviously you don't know much) I am french, I hate the food at MacDonald, never eat there, or any fastfood restaurant for that matter, and yes you're right, I can't afford going out for dinner in fine restaurants very often, but I can cook, and I don't cook hamburgers or hot dogs !
