Ozzie, I am sorry, I didn't want to hijack your post.... I must say that I don't miss cards or presents on Valentine's Day, because growing up in France it was not something that was celebrated. I know it was a big deal in Great Britain. Kids in Kindergarten and first grade here in the US give cards to all their classmates, even the ones they don't like... it's a must

My husband does not have a drop of romanticism in him... I don't really understand the big deal about St. Valentine's Day, just too commercial.... but hubby doesn't even remember our wedding anniversary, and he has never given me any jewelry, not even a ring for our wedding....

Rayzorblade : what kind of bird is that ? I had a pet quail a few years ago, and he would jump up to the kitchen sink when I was doing the dishes. And after studying what I was doing for a while, he would jump into the soapy water and splash around.... I loved that bird...

Saddam should be overthrown, no question about that. Certainly Iraqis themselves want him out of power.... But tell me, soldier, you who know more about the army and all that, why a ground war, with all the risks ? Why not send a commando, or whatever you call these special fighters, that would find Saddam Hussein and his closest followers and generals and take them out, kill them if they must, or take them out of the country. There would maybe be 100 deaths instead of 50,000 or more... Me think Bush and his government want more than just get rid of Saddam... I don't trust Bush, I can't stand Bush for that matter.... but that's besides the point....
