My grandfather was an inactive JW up untill my teens, and then he became active again. He would come over and try to get me and my father (who was disfellowshiped) to join the JW's. My father wrote a letter to the watchtower society and became in a sense blackballed. My grandfather had nothing to do with us after that untill his death. Why is that he could go and see his sister. What kind of religon seperates family members?

Need clarification on communication with a disfellowshipped person
by jostes inwas wondering the clarification of a relationship someone can have with their mother if they have been disfellowshipped and the daughter is in good standing with the congregation?
the daughter was baptised after the disfellowship.
does this mean the daughter is not to have a relationship with the mother.

Arian doctrine Jesus was hetrousios (like substance of God)
Athanasisus doctrine homousious (same substance of God)
For whatever reason Constantine supported the Athanasisus doctrine during the Niceian debate and this is what became known as the apostles creed. During my search on the trinity beliefs i found no document supporting such theory it is all based on faith.
I choose to beleive the arian belief which is Jesus is not God, yet he is of the essence of God; the Holy Spirit (instrument of God) indwelled in Jesus when he was baptized. Therfore from this God, by means of the Holy Spirit worked through Jesus and after death became devine.
