Anointed looking a bit younger - Feb 15th WT
by The Scotsman inbeen a wee while since i have been here, holidays and stuff.. anyway, i received the new feb 15th wt last night, the one with the generation change.
they have inserted an image that is meant to represent the anointed class, it is not like the usual ones.
generally these pics would have them with gray hair looking very old, but this image "in my opinion" seems to show them a bit younger.

Islam Diss'ed Again....
by chappy inseems a 54 year old british school teacher who is teaching grammer school classes in the sudan has committed a despicable act by blastpheming and showing no respect for the prophet!
can you believe it; she actually allowed the children in her class to name a teddy bear being used in a class project muhammad!!
the sudanise government, carrying out its god given duty is putting her on trial.

Of course one mad bomb happy christian is entirely different to a government act backed up by police and the law courts.
These countries are so primitive its embarrassing.

ive never heard of e-snipe tho, might have to check that out.

FAIR WARNING to my FRIENDS~!~!~!
by purplesofa ini am on a diet!.
it started today!!!
uggggggggggggggggggggggg!.

Good luck Purps. Im 2 weeks after having a baby, and looking at my flabby body is so depressing. I have 2 stone to lose. Im told breastfeeding will help, but I was a bit overweight before I got pregnant, so even if I get to my pre pregnancy weight I still have some to lose.
I think cycling is the way to go - jogging is too hard on the joints and very hard to maintain. Cycling is way more knee friendly! Im gonna give it a try when I can leave the baby for longer than an hour between feeds!

OMG looloo! That elder couldnt have asked a more wrong question. I hope your mum gave him double barrels (im guessing she did). How utterly arrogant of him to call his brand of belief THE truth - but then ive been there. Ive called it the same thing in my time. Arrogant and narrow minded in the extreme.
Im so sorry for what happened to your family.

depends which truth you mean - my truth, your truth, their truth or THE truth.
I think anyone classing their set of beliefs as THE definitive and ONLY truth is rather arrogant - after all we cant be totally sure can we? Even science has proved changeable as new learning occurs.
I have finally decided that the ONLY absolute truth I can believe in is some basic maths (further maths becomes less clear).
So I am interested in THE truth, but im not interested in anyone who claims they have a monopoly on it. In fact I have now decided that anyone who claims to be the sole provider of THE truth should be avoided for the very reason that their thinking cannot be logical and reasonable.

Megan is in Hospital...
by KW13 inin a sense its my fault, i made her take a look in the loft to see what she wanted me to take down.
anyway while she was perched on top of the ladder, she slipped back and banged her head/neck/back.
she is ok, up, smiling and joking compared to before when things looked quite serious.

OMG - you made a woman go up in the loft and now shes fractured her skull??? Crickey you should feel SOOOOO guilty! How can you live with yourself? Nothing short of a REALLY EXPENSIVE present would make up for that kind of ...well... is virtually wife beating isnt it.
May I suggest:
A week of you doing the cooking, washing and ironing, followed by a FULL week of meals out at really decent restaurants (no, MacDonalds will NOT do). Then a spa weekend away for her (you will be doing the ironing so you cant go) - I suggest Aqua Sana (www.AquaSana.co.uk). That should take you up to Christmas, at which time you can go for a case of therapeutic champagne and maybe a theatre trip.
I cant see any other way you can expunge your guilt on this one.
Oh, and get well soon Megan!

Welcome Former Mormon. It really helped me to see that other religions had as strong a faith in their brand as I had in mine, it was the start of me seeing my former faith wasnt THE ONE, but just one of many.
p.s our God was harder to please than your God
LMAO!!!

Christmas commercials
by Hortensia init isn't even december yet and i already hate that commercial where the woman goes into lowes or home depot and asks for christmas ornaments using body language.
i've seen it too many times already!!!!
and it isn't working, obviously, as i can't even remember which home store it is advertising.. i like christmas - the excitement, color, lights, food, parties.

I hate the Argos advert in the UK because the tune is totally stuck in my head already (Its beginning to look a lot like christmas).
And does anyone else think it was filmed in Edinburgh? Ive only been once so I could be wrong.
Oh and weve got a whole host of crappy christmas tune CD's out - yes theyve all got Slade on them, jeez that man can retire off the back of that song.
