    I am on a DIET!

    It started today!!! UGGGGGGGGggggggggggggggg!

    Until I get used to eating rabbit food again, I just might be **WARNING!!! *** Grumpy!

    My diet protein shakes arrived yesterday.

    I have a goal to be able to ride my bike 50 miles by the time I am 50. I got to 30 miles and then stuff happened and I parked the bike~quit bringing it in the house overnight(the cats don't even get that)Now its rusted, drove through McDonalds for one of those yummie Chocolate Shakes and the rest is ~~~~~~~stuck on me!!!

    Part of it was leaving the organization, I found myself reading tons of books SITTING SITTING SITTING instead of exercising. I just had to get my head straight.......all that mess sorted out. I love to read, but right now, I am saturated. I just packed up maybe 200 books.......most all purchased since my fade.....maybe 50 of them .....about God, religions, Cults, Spiritual stuff, self-help......etc etc. (BTW in your exit I suggest reading reading reading)

    I am gonna miss those buckets of cheese dip, yummie fruit punches, creams and cookies!!!!!

    Look out 50, here I come!!!!!

    ps...Arkansas has the most beautiful bike trail along the river, can't wait to get there again!!!! I have posted some pics of it in previous posts.

    Good luck purps ,I dropped 23 pounds and am still losing the other 17 to get down to 195 .

    I got fat after rehab 3 years ago and I'm steadily losing about 4 pounds a mounth ( I'm not working at it to hard lol)

    As I read your post I sit here eating carrots I'd rather have that snickers bar that is in the snack machine that keeps calling me but I'm trying to resist

    Good for you! My goal is to ride my bike to the end of the street without having a heart attack. We live on a golf course with wonderful HILLY roads. I still ca't believe I rode my bike everywhere when I was a kid.

    Is this going to be a support group????

    I was trying to lose 10 and firm up earlier this year, it was going great! I was walking every day and working out with a personal trainer 3 days a week. I felt fantastic. I decided to kick it up a notch, and run. Two months later I was having knee surgery I now have closer to 20 to lose. I just have not been able to motivate myself to do any kind of exercise at all.

    Sorry about the knee surgery. As a teen I was on a gymnastics team.....twisted my knee and forever NOW with a knee injury. I ran track too.

    Loved to walk/run.........In my early thirties I walked 8 miles a day.........Worked 10 years in highheels.....great on your feet and legs! NOT

    So when I wanted to get back into exercising bike riding was perfect. Took the stress off the joints.

    Plus it is so nice to ride on a trail.....I dont recommend street riding.......I tore my rotator cuff almost getting hit by a car. I got only a partial tear, but mending was so painful.

    Maybe bike riding will give you what you need.
