i posted this in a thread but perhaps it needs to be on its own so that it doesn't take over the other thread.
most people who have lived in a cult or high control group such as the jws will experience many of the symptoms of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (c-ptsd).. complex post-traumatic stress disorder.
trauma and recovery .
Thank you Lady Lee, some points there within struck a chord, wouldn't mind reading the whole paper if you could email me a copy. [email protected]
Kindest regards!!

england will hopefully never relinquish it's monarchy.
it unites, you see.
it unites the kingdom.
As much as sometimes we despair at the antics of the Royal Family, we hold them with a great deal of affection generally, bunch of ruddy scallywaggin ruddy balmpots though they be.
It does bring a lump to your throat seeing some of the parades and the ceremonies, very moving indeed and a great sense of British pride in your heart, only goodness knows these days what for.
Thats why we love them I guess.
Edited for grammatical error
i just finished watching a documentary entitled, "live forever".
(no intentional jw reference there..) it was about the time period in the early 90's to about 97 when britpop was huge.. i've been listening to a lot of music from that period lately.
early stone roses, pulp, etc...the whole britpop thing went pretty much unnoticed here, actually a fellow bethelite introduced me to a lot of it..he snuck out to see echobelly when they played in nyc!.
I'll have to pass on the views of my experiences with both Blur and Oasis, Little Toes summed that up very well anyway I thought.
Towards the end of the 18 year reign in British politics by the Conservatives, the country was pretty much on it's knees, the rich had got richer by their very corruptness and the poorer working classes were increasingly being left out in the cold. Interests rates were soaring close to 14 and 15%, it was a terrible time, friends going bankrupt, losing everything left right and center.
Along came Labour, who at first seemed to pick the country up into more of a bouyant mood, albeit there let downs have been too much spin and too much introduction, even more so in the system than ever before. They have been big on selling ideals, but the practical reality of bringing these social engineering systems into fruition has been courting much trouble from day one. The country however, has felt better since they came to power, though time will tell whether they really are the people in power for the working classes or not.
Market forces have compounded the age old problem of the gap between the rich and the poor, with interests rates recently at record lows, now slowly rising again to try to stop people every where spending so much money on credit, the country is now a trillion pounds in debt, plus the gold reserves have been sold off pretty much too.
I could trunter on, but a conversation would only suffice to explain the full picture.
Ello Balmpot!! I in't a clue who the ruddy hec you are, never met you, but just wanted to wish you the happiest bestest birthday ever, hope you 'ave a good un!!
My kindest regards and all best wishes to you!!

Very beautiful Larry!! Sorry I took so long to say this and express my appreciation in return for your pictures.
recently i have met an old fleet street hack, or newspaper reporter, formally writing for the daily mail.
he has been encouraging me also like many of you here, to start writing a book, which he will kindly be assisting me with, currently he too is looking again to be published soon with a bestseller.
i pondered last night and today have been rather perplexed about what i ought to base the theme upon, for my particular writing style.
I won't cheers, not when I'm in such a good mood this evening, no way could it do so anyway, cheers though.

HS - you miss the point entirely.
This is not a book looking to be published, it is simply an exercise in non judgemental writing, the other author, already well published Peter, will be simply analysing my style of written communication within to hone the processes. Also, why not? Why not ask for suggestions and input, why do you consider this not to be a good start? I am most puzzled at your lack of something or other, for this comment on your behalf to arise. All I was looking for was a name, asking the universe for assistance from someone to supply me with such, to share and open out the process. As it happens Arrowstar came out with a very good name which I will use for my first chapter title. Of course I could have picked a name myself but planning ahead as I usually like to do, I was simply including a perspective would be audience, I don't really need to say anymore, not by any means though have I taken umbrage with your view. All the best!!

Peter is writing his story about Bertha, an old Austin A30 he owns and their adventures together, part fictional and part real life.
A few minutes ago, a theme ran through my mind, I think I will be attemping at least the first chapter from this week, I have decided to call my book - The Book, simple as that, nothing else.
The Book will be a journey of discovery and insight among the many playful characters as depicted by the various chapters all defined by a personal name and with each character, or chapter personality, we will embark upon our adventurous journey's exploring fun, the universe, the ups and downs and mirth of life.
Btw I discovered a new word late last night which I want to bring into my vocablary, - Umbrage. What a lummily beautiful word, as in, 'Now, don't you get taking umbrage with me'.
Anyway, I have digressed.
Can anyone here come up with a lads or lasses name for the chapter of my first book? i.e. Beatrice, Enid, Agnes, Nathaniell, Doug, Gregory.
You choose the names, I'll pick one and take it from there, and get to know this fictional friend of mine. As I progress through the chapters, the layers of the story will become interwoven, the tapestry weaved, as the journey of inner storytelling unfolds upon itself.
Suggestions welcomed.
