More Beautiful PHOTOS at the very tip of mainland Britain
by Celtic inearlier on this evening, i packed sarny's, took a bottle of drink with me, camera and headed off to the far west to the cove at porthcurno, one of my particular favourite stretches of coastline around here, porthcurno is the place from which the very first transatlantic cables were laid from connecting the uk to the usa.
just to the left of the very pretty cove, with the finest possible sand is the incredible and visually stunning minack theatre, a 750 seater amphitheatre carved straight from the cornish granite cliff from whence the views are staggering, next on to lands end via polgigga and trethewey, a few miles after which the setting of the sun between cape cornwall and lands end itself.
the lighthouse picture is the longships, with the scilly isles in the very far distance, beyond that is the usa, i waved to you all from here, the most westerly point in the country.. as per usual to enlarge pictures, click on them, they only take a second or so to load, then hover your cursor over the bottom right side and if a directional icon shows up, click again to make even bigger.. hope you all enjoy them as much as the pleasure i had earlier this evening walking by myself these cliffs and sands.. hugs to all you ruddy balmpots!

sorry, the garden pictures are not loading too well, too much colour enrichment I guess for the software to handle it, anyway, the last one above is a Newlyn fishing trawler and in the foreground is The Lizard Lifeboat.
Goodnight!!

The Celts in deep thought & just rambles some thoughts
by Celtic indon't mind me, i'm just thinking aloud.
life is a ruddy strange thing.
on the one hand it is so precious and beautiful, on the other it is worthless and the long deepest sleep of death seems so inviting.

El Blanko, thank you for putting the perspective back in sooo beautifully, aye, thats what I enjoy about gardening so much, like your glass of water experience, I do this often too. I know what it is with me, recently I have not been nourishing my inner soul as much as I ought to have done, tis because of being self employed and rushed off my feet often, I have not being giving myself the time that my soul was / is requesting. So, this afternoon, I'm off to west Cornwall to sit on top of some majestic cliffs somewhere, probaly near Porthcurno I reckon, near the Minack Theatre, a particular favourite spot of mine, to gaze down at the Atlantic rollers crashing against the cliffs, to turn my back to the warming of the sun and gaze out west across the Atlantic ocean to far away shores where many more friends live.
Maya, thank you too, you have a reply by pm.
Hugs to you both.
Btw, if anyone is up for coming down sometime this summer, the Minack Theatre is an absolutely stunning place to watch a play / performance, it's a 750 seater amphitheatre carved into the solid granite cliffs, the sea right below. Would make for a magical night out with good friends, then if anyones up for it, by moonlight I could take a few up the Helford River in my boat to Frenchmand creek where we could have a bbq on a quiet deserted beach surrounded by exquisite beauty and maybe swim in phospherescense, anyone?

Dear Puternut
May I wish you personally every success with your move and hope that everything goes well for you. I admire your spirit in doing this and am sure that this is a wise move indeed which will enable you to obtain a certain amount of closure on your past allowing you to further move on with your life. In October too, I will be doing similar, everything here just reminds me of problems and to be honest, I too have had enough and feel like moving on, up and forwards, anyway, good on you, keep in touch and thank you for over the past all your fine words of encouragement etc.
My kindest regards and God speede

My Rather Large Extremeties Are Becoming A Problem.
by Englishman ini'm not excessively tall at just over 6 feet.
however, i must have been first in line when god was dishing out hands, feet and heads.
to date it hasn't been much of a problem except when i have to travel 25 miles to the nearest shoe shop to get a size 14 (uk).

Eyes, what do they say about the real You?
by Celtic inin the eye is the soul, what do your eyes say about the real you?
within the depths of your eyes, do they give away madness and anger, are they twinkly, fun and mischivious, do you have kind eyes and a gentle spirit, do your eyes say you have an inner wisdom, coupled with either joy or a great sadness?.
what do your eyes say about you?

If I heard that reply from you Farkel, I'd laugh fit to burst.
