Its ok mate we all take time, after exit, to adjust to normal life. WTBS destroys people so much that for many it takes a lifetime to rid themselves off impressions they took along the way. Take a hobby, something that you always wanted to do but never had time or strength to do it

jw man in good standing, elders, ministerial servants, all levels, i have seen them trade off their old wife and marry a younger woman.
they might get df'd for a year or so but eventually return and get all their priveleges back , only difference is they have a new woman on their arm.. the old wife usually has to move to another kingdom hall or accept the new couple being in her face all the time.

What religion would you recommend for those who want to leave the WTS?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inafter i decide to leave the jehovah's witnesses one day,i will not look for a new religion.
the damage that the wts has caused me leads me to mistrust all men and religion.. i trusted these men from the wts .
i gave up 35 years of my life to find out that the wts is just a printing and real estate corporation disguised as a religion.

Hell yeah. I've seen it. Just one example, a hubby rooted someone, then got dfd and then filed for divorce. A year later found himself a brand new bride some 20 years his junior. While at the same time his aging wife was forced to do all sorts of jobs to survive. Eventually poor woman started taking care of a guy in a wheelchair who needed someone to help him do house chores from time to time. What do you think happened next? She was reprimanded for spending time with another man alone in his house. It didn't matter that his packer wouldn't get a hard on if it was connected to the main power grid. Talk about hypocracy

Hypnotic Language Patterning

at every meeting, regardess of the time of day, frame of mind, secular workload, etc, i would feel i was being lulled into a numbing sleep.
it was not that the material was boring to me (i have attended many boring secular conferences and never experienced the strange effect that a meeting had on me).

If one was evil one could easily manipulate with people's minds like with pebbles. Take any wtbs tract and chances are it starts something like this "While watching these scenes, what feeling are going through your mind" or "what does it make you feel while you are seeing such and such" It is very crude but it strikes the essence of hypnosis; by manipulating how someone feels you can manipulate what they think. For example, if you want them to run away from you, you can easily make them feel gross and soon their mind will find "logical" reasons to run for cover. Military strategists, political strategists as well as practitioners of higher orders of some martial arts have known that for ages.
Likewise if you make them feel secure and like you know what you are talking about you can easily do that too by giving them little facts while majority of what you say appeals to their stereotypes, prejudices etc, i.e. how they feel about the world, a group of people or an individual (politicians do that all the time).
Heck even gossip is prime example of it, its almost like a freaking trance. Just listen to people talking about someone, there might be few facts but majority is, speculations, exaggerations, appeal on loyalty to the person spreading gossip, and alike but very few and far between real facts, just interpretations of the "facts" glued by rich imaginations. No wonder majority of people can't seem to find strength to break the cycle. Heck in few instances I even gave people to read a book or an article that told them in details what was happening and even how to do it, and then watched them to see if they got enough of brain power to recognize it happening, but nope too many are simply clueless.
People are expecting something "spooky" or "something out of this world" to control their minds, what they don't realize that is simply a diversion, a misdirection, while real mind manipulations was happening right there and then while they were given verbal presentation craftily measured for intended purpose.
There are no "demons", or "gods" out there, something "spiritual" or "voodoo" there's nothing that one person can do to another person by focusing "mind power" lol, it only exist if you believe in it. Real manipulation is happening while they are with you in person skillfully choosing their words and actions. Heck is it any wonder that Hitler was able to manipulate millions of intelligent people? He appealed on their stereotypes and prejudices, as simple as that. Or how is it that suddenly only certain brands of perfume or clothing are being ordered, its happening all the time. -

by compound complex inmy frequent walks these last few years about the neighborhood so familiar to me would ordinarily be construed a pleasant enough non-event.
a little mild exercise - taken in small doses to keep the joints operating properly - and a keen eye peeled for the ever-changing face of nature have rendered the daily promenade a suitable diversion.

Have you ever considered writing for living if you are already not doing it? Your style has a touch of blues in it, if you know what I mean, a very subtle at it too. While reading it, for some reason, this song came to mind (one of my favs), probably has nothing to do with it, I guess it is more the 'chord' it hits while reading it. Write a book mate.

It's been here before but Its good to be reminded, I bet many new ones on this board haven't even heard of it. Mind you as an engineer I love the concept how this engine works and as an entrepreneur I probably wouldn't pass military as a cash cow either. But for a religious institution that takes such a "high" moral ground, demanding complete surrender of theirs rank and file lives and privacy, and punishing them for the most ridiculous of the "sins" and then turning around and working in plain sight with such impunity and arrogance is mind boggling. I suppose they count on r&f heeding their "advice" not to believe "media" or anything they see with their own eyes. No wonder so many dubs are either suffering with some form of mental illness or are teetering on brink of it.
