  Is the Disney company a Cult?

  me and the wife are heading down to disneyland in the winter.

  i've never been a huge disney fan, but she's a huge fan.

  i've just recently accidently stumbled onto some information that i've never previously been exposed to, and i'm finding it strikingly similar to the jw religion.

  All I know is that I'm tired of them coming out with sequels now for every single movie they own, especially when Walt Disney didn't even like sequels. How can you have a sequel to Snow White and Cinderella when the characters are supposed to live happily ever after at the end of the first movie?

  Going to a District Convention Undercover, suggestions?

  i'm still undesided but leaning towards going to a few dcs under the cover of a worldly person(i'm really a df'd evil apostate .

  i'm a worldy person that is in love with a jw sister who i work with, we have dated and even have been intimate(that outa perk up the ears of any hatchet man elder), and now she refuses to see me any more unless i become a jw, she encouraged me to go to this convention, but is afraid to be seen with me because she doesn't want people in her congregation to know she has a boy friend.

  i think that kind of story would grab the interest of many sisters or brother and allow me to ask some hard questions about the organization and even allow me to bring up some things i found on the internet about dates and such and not be viewed as an apostate.

  You'd probably need a working knowledge of a photo-manipulating program like Adobe Photoshop to duplicate a copy of a Press Pass....but this would be illegal and could result in prison time. Oh and for legal reasons, I'm permitted to state that a person such as myself would never and has never done such a thing.

  Just don't say you know a brother that works the sound box and is suffering from sound box burnout and how you seen him talking about what it would be like to not be a witness anymore and how his nic is soundbox_guy, on www.jehovahs-witness.com, which is also a negative reference that makes fun of what he's thought of at his congregation, just a lowly sound box guy and nothing more....Just don't do that and you'll be fine.

  A few observations from the DC

  i have been reading over everyones posts from the dc and it made me remember a few things:.

  the drama: they definately were discouraging going to collage.

  timothy had a friend named jonathon that pursued "worldly goals"- getting an education, getting a good job and getting married and having kids.

  I could be a big time movie producer right now jumping up and down on couches like Tom Cruise talking about how much I love my job and how much I love some other fellow artist who I met while away at college if it wasn't for the Dubs! Darn it!

  What was your breaking point?

  okay, i'm new as you all probably know, so my question may have been discussed several times in the past.

  i'm just curious as to when some of you came to the conclusion that enough was enough and that you didn't want to attend the meetings anymore or not be a jw.

  was it in field service, at home, at the hall?

  I understand exactly what you mean rebel8, I get freaked out too when they act like it's such a good thing that the birds will be eating up dead people's eye balls and how people's eyes are supposed to rot from their sockets. I'm like, "These are people we're talking about, why are you so enthusiastic about your own kind being done away with like that?" I wouldn't wish that on someone just because they didn't want to listen to what I had to say. As regards the Dub husband...I like using the term "Dub" makes me sound cool, but anyway, I can relate to that too. I think everyone probably knew a weird brother at their hall that sort of freaked them out.

  No matter what age you are, if you're hot wear what makes you feel comfortable. Being 30 plus years isn't bad, I like women in their 30s. They look sophisticated and have nice bodies as well. Summer is usually hard for me though because that's when I think about sex the most from all the near nakedness. Having a foot fetish doesn't help either with all the sandals and shoes that show off women's feet.

  you imagine i could just say that i'd be tempted by all the half dressed young women walking around dripping wet with their feet showing and it wouldn't be good for me as a brother since i have an active imagination and a foot fetish?

  You know what, yeah, they do. That sucks. LOL...That's another reason I don't want to take that assignment. They should just let females be females and forget all that covering up stuff. Maybe the sisters wouldn't feel so bad about themselves if they got to show themselves off and could get a few comments from some brothers.
