Makes me very anxious, though have had mine read and yes they can be accurate, but where does this all come from? A former friend of mine had some and was a spiritualist, he was very good and very accurate, when my JW son found out he refused to visit me again.

Whats the worst dish you ever served???
by Tez ini am a reasonable cook when i can be bothered (as paulj will hopefully confirm) but often resort to quick and easy methods, packet mixes, tins etc.. whereas my parner is a brilliant cook!!
leave him in the kitchen for a little while and he produces something from scratch that is delicious.
so today i decided to extend my culinary skills!

Great reading through your experiences!! don't feel such a wombat now!!! Sphere and BG - how to make sure no one comes to dinner again! though must say bg when you finally got it right sounds delicious. Just a few other experiences I've had over the years, one I repeated several times, burnt hard boiled eggs!!! the smell is gross!! also first time I made mince pies for a Xmas party years ago.. on the way to the event my b/frnd tried one, after first bite threw it down the road...it BOUNCED!!!!! sometime later made sausage rolls.. my mother in law broke her false teeth on them!!! aww well its all a learning curve!!

its is wednesday at about 12:30 in the afternoon, and there about 30 cars there!
my wife says they must be out in service.

I used to spend a lot of time calling on empty homes! most folk are out at work during the day now!! With JW's thinking they are so up to the mark, you would think they would push more for evening witnessing!! but do they?? No, they still encourage pioneering and auxiliary pioneering and make you feel guilty about not doing enough, but what is the point of walking up and down empty streets?? Never could understand that!!!

So today I decided to extend my culinary skills! and make Chilli con Carne from scratch! He left the kitchen (as he has a tendency to interfere!) So added the mince, onions, garlic to pan, left to brown, then added the tomatoes, puree, pepper, chilli powder and stock.. Mmmm texture not quite right but leave and see how it turns out... Smell not quite what I expected but never mind, be patient!! In the meantime where's the coffee that I started to make??? oh and why is the stock still sitting there??? Uh Oh.. you guessed it, I added my cup of coffee instead of the stock!!! Duh!!!! and how did my parner react
He fell on the floor laughing!!!
My only excuse is I have PMT!! whats the worst dish you ever served or in the case of fellow females out there your worst pmt moment???

What a pushy mother you had!!! I know you say its a long time ago and you are over it but it was something that never should have happened. I've heard of JW mums like that, I think they are trying to relive some sort of romantic experiences through their daughters!

a couple of really terrible things happened to me and my family recently.. i would like to talk about it but i am afraid to reveal details because i have been attending meetings again to help someone dear to me.
but, i am having such a hard time handling my emotions, i just don't know what to do with them anymore.

Hi Ellie, Diane sends her regards! she is staying with me at the moment. I think a lot of JW's marry too young! and for the wrong reasons. I do agree though with the parents getting to know the boy/girl friends, and allowing them to visit and become part of the family if the relationship is serious. In laws should try harder to help the couple succeed, so many in laws cause disruption.

Having been on the outside looking in at some disastrous marriages, do any of you think there should be some sort of counselling couple should go through before they get married??? Agree only one arranged marriage that I know of seemed successful and messing with other people's lives is a no no, but often think couples get married without enough knowledge of what to expect.... if you know what I mean???
