  at the service meeting tonight we went over this week's scheduled bible reading at 1) chronicles 10-12. the brother explaining the bible reading explained the example for young people:.

  " what can we learn this week young people from rehoboam's example?

  that when you have problems as much as you may be inclined to seek the advice of your fellow peers you should seek out the "older men" in the congregation for help.

  If your not convinced by the scandals, then perhaps you may want to take a closer look at what they are teaching, and really find out if its the truth. But not by just taking their word for it.

  Welcome to the board. Im sorry to hear about your decision to return. It seems to me (and I'm assuming) that perhaps you had left the WTBTS the first time for the wrong reason, for everything you couldn't do. Guilt has taken over, and your only choice is to return to the fold. Consider what your doing carefully, especially since you recognize that you will not be treated kindly when you return. It takes time to realize the FDS are not truly inspired and are just running your life.

  What view did you have of apostates when you were a JW?

  i can remember being an attendant at one of the circuit assemblies in nottingham, where a group of pentecostals were picketing out by one of the gates.

  i was intrigued for a short while, until a guy in a motorised wheelchair type thing, tried to get into the assembly by ramming himself into us.

  i could of quite happily baptised him in the trent !!

  I remember being totally scared of them. At one DC I was on security detail for a member of the GB who was speaking at the assembly. Some were picketing outside and we had to walk him out. I felt like the secret service, but I was crapping my pants. If I only knew, I would have invited them to help me kick his ass!

  i was just wandering.... was it just me or was everyone thinking about it..... ive been in a few congs where some of the sisters were absolutely drop dead gorgeous!

  my last cong here in sydney, there was about 160 publishers so the talent was every where... i remember having the hots for this sister, who happens to be the wife of the service overseer... she was xxx hot.

  i remember always having to wear my suit coat to the meeting to hide my excitement.. i think all the bro's must have thought the same thing.

  Its funny, because there was this elders wife who was very cool with the young folks in my cong. She was tanned, with beautiful black hair and extremely HOT, and I did anything I could to hang out with her. If only she knew my dirty thoughts....hehehe
