I tried, I really tried, but this is like unbelievable BS. How can anyone with a right frame of mind, not see beyond this? They are so trying to cover their asses.

How long do you stay in love?
by Thegoodgirl ini have a question:.
how long do you stay in love?
for those of you who are married, are you together "just for the kids"?

I was with my ex husband for over eight years. We parted on good terms. I stay in love as long as we are both on the same page, fighting and believing in the same things. However, I am a realistic, when it is gone, I don't try to fake it and I don't believe and suffering over it.
I would like to fall in love again and get married, if it is rigt.

Which Hotel in VEGAS is your favourite??????
by south african beef injust been to the bellagio for 6 days - absolutely loved it!.
visited most of the big hotels - loved the wynn with it's in house ferrari showroom.. venetian was also awe inspiring.
mandalay bay was impressive for its size - including a 12,000 seat auditorium and an underwater shark experience.. luxor was also amazing and mgm grand is the worlds biggest hotel with over 5000 rooms.. for shopping caezars palace was fantastic - the forum shops were something else!.

I am a Vegas semi -regular. I absolutely love the Wynn and Mandalay Bay.
However, as I have learned, and because I do comps, the last time I stayed there, wich was in December, I stayed at the El Cortez and surprisingly, I loved it. Clean room, nice ammenities, very surprising. I love Old Downtown Vegas.

This was one of the first realizations I had that all was not as it seemed within the JW organization. I was finally allowed to work outside the house and I remember talking to a Christian woman, a very devoted Christian woman who I told about the JW organization and she asked very plainly, "why is it that JWs try to act so much more spiritual than everyone, yet they are known for how much they drink and the parties with tons of alcohol served has always seemed strange to me". When she said it, I rewind in my mind how many times I saw JW's drink and drunk. She wasn't lying.

only part of meeting you enjoyed
by martinwellborne infor me it was bible reading, where you could express your own opinion, in line with present truth of course.. pre the change it was awful listening to some fool telling you his opinion of bible highlights.

"As JWs, we don't believe in Law Enforcement"-- gag me.
by Pioneer Spit...oh, i mean Spirit ina jw mother recently received a background check phone call concerning her son's interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement in another state.
she says nice enough things about her (ex-jw) son, but states that she doesn't talk to him much because he left the family religion, and then has the nerts to say that while she supports him to an extent, she disapproves of his career choice because, "as duhhhhoho's witlesses, we don't believe in law enforcement.
" what a shame to admit this.. i say, don't call 9-1-1 you stupid piece o' hell.

What a crock, but if they are being robbed, they will call the police in a minute.
JW are big hypocrites.

What positive things can you take from being raised JW?
by Mickey mouse inrather than getting too down about wasting the best years of my life in a cult .
i have a really great imagination.
you have to have one to get through five hours of meetings per week at a young age.

I learned how to sit in a three hour meeting and tune it completely out and think about a zillion other things without going crazy.

Besides the play stuff when I was a little little girl, it happened when I was 17. I was working at a Sears & Roebuck, still heavily in the JW, but I developed a crush on the guy that worked downstairs where I would get my cash roll. From a young age, I learned that I could only have secret crushes on "worldly" boys, but this one was different. One day, after work, he walked on the train car I was sitting, sat in front of me, gave me his number and pretty much told me he had been eyeing me. I was sooo shy, my goodness, I still look back on that and laugh, but I was completely flattered. He would wait for me after work and we would walk to the bus or train together, and then one evening, we went to McDonalds, had a sundae, he waited with me till my bus came and he KISSED me. I still remember my stomach shaking and I felt like the whole world just stopped for one entire second to feel me smile. I literally floated on the bus, watching him as it pulled off and sat down in my seat and dared to touch my lips...
I shall never forget it.

Remind me to not visit Japan, although I really want to go. I will probably walk around in a plastic covering the whole time.
