Not to be mean, but when I read this stuff, I can't believe JWs actually don't realize what their faith is based on. It is based ON THE OCCULT and based on MYSTICISM, the entire belief system is from one man's interest in mysticism and predicting dates. They still do it and pretend it's not true.

Well when I was married, and even when we dated my ex husband was my best friend, there is no one it would have worked as long as it did or end in such a respectful way. Personally, I feel like that friendship creates the bond that stablizes any marriage, so if not your very best friend, one of your closest with whom you can trust and confide in. Without that kind of connection, I just don't think it can last.

WT-Says Moms Should not Work

the article basically states that moms should not work outside of the home but stay at home with their kids to teach them things about jehovah.
it also states that moms that want to work outside the home full-time do so not out of economic necessity but to boost their self worth, to obtain financial independence or to pay for luxuries.

My brother being kicked out of Bethel

my brother, 41, knows nothing but bethel life.

I never heard of seating just for disfellowshipped people, I am really starting to believe (and maybe I am slow) that congregations in different regions of the country in the US and over the world interpret the same basic cult teachings very differently.
I knew of several DF's people when I was still in who always sat with their families.

Ever Lose Your Cool
by LouBelle ini work in the advertising world - i run the department and have 5 staff memebers that report to me.. 1 accountant, 2 sales reps and 2 layout and design.
my one rep is sluggish, no drive, no umph, does the bare minimum and no matter how times he is warned, encouraged, you name it his attitude doesn't change.
i've lost my cool on a couple of occasions with him becuase he has a total disregard for authority.

Just so that I can follow you, when you say "these people" what kind of people are you referring?
Second, I am not sure how it is there, but as a manager and supervisor, you hire people that are qualified to do the job, you do a background check, get references from other employers and you hire the best person for the job. You then have a three month probationary period, where you access the person's skill level, fit with the company and work ethic, in that case anyone that is not a good worker or has issues, you fire them, it's really that simple.
I have always believed that if one person is giving you a problem, look at the person, but if two or more are giving you the same kind of problem, it's time to do an analysis of yourself...
