  i know we have some very imaginative people, so let's pretend we are "god".

  we see how much of an economic crisis we are in, how politics is making people fight from all sides, so many religions and they are all fighting against each other, in fact, every difference can be a breaking point for division.

  create a world that is functional, realistic and economically sound.. it can be as short or long as you want, but i think it would be a good place to come up with some ideas and possibly create a reality that even in our own lives, can make a difference..

So it is up to YOU! Create a world that is functional, realistic and economically sound.

  it is truly amazing the varied emotions i've felt since my jw daughter has been talking to me after not talking to me for 9 months .

  " i replied, " i haven't said anything about the witnesses today .

  she had told me an elder from my area had given a talk in her congregation 30 miles away , and she told him i have issues with the child abuse scandal.

  Then she got teary eyed and said," Dad , do you know how much I love you ? " And I said, " Yes I do. Do you know how much I love you sweetie ? " I replied back . She said, " Yes, I do. " I then told her how proud I am of her that she is a caring person trying to help people the best way she knows how , and that I was proud she is my daughter. That cheered her up some

  Flipper, you are a wonderful father, I got teary just reading that. Just be patient, if she is anything like you, she will open her mind up. Showing her love and support means so much to children, no matter what age.

  My step brother passed away because he was not allowed to have a blood transfusion. He had lost too much and at that point, it was too late. It haunts me to this day.

  NOW they want to have new doctrine on blood, but what about those children, adults and teenagers that died because of it.

  To me, this is child abuse and social services should be involved.

  Religion bites, spirituality rules. So, no I don't find anything "logical" about following any man made directive regarding how to worship, what to worship, etc. What's logical in letting another person/group/organization, tell you what to believe and how to believe it?

  My experience is that there are three types of people in this world. 1) Those that lead. 2) Those that follow. 3) Those that do nothing.

  Big News About "Knocking" on Youtube!

  i think i uncovered an important development in the "knocking"/youtube controversy.

  a few days ago i was reviewing the knocking excerpts on youtube and paying attention to their viewer stats and whether they allowed comments.

  none of the videos i saw were allowing comments.

  Can you set up a corporation where your identity is not automatically known or have someone speak on your behalf that you trust?

  It's all very interesting and I do believe that there is more going on behind the scenes. Go with your first instinct, I think all of this can be traced back to the person that started contacting you about your video and your thoughts. Have you considered a consultation with a Intellectual Property Lawyer? I definitely think the WTS is involved, but I will try to help when I get home.

  Anyone here collect foreign currency as a hobby?

  i would like to begin a collection - but i am not sure the best resources so that i don't get ripped off.

  anyone know of a forum that discusses this hobby?

  i did a google and the category is so broad i don't know where to start.

  I am really trying to collect Euros, not so much as a hobby, but I could go for it, I haven't read too much about where to actually get them though. With the way the dollar is falling, foreign currency may come in handy.

  In the winter, I love salmon, baked chicken and for a treat lasagna. I also love spagehtti with crumbled meat. I also like soups.

  In the summer, I love seafood salad, eggplant parmesan, stuffed shells, I love salmon, I will have it twice a week, Tuna, and a nice glass of wine.

  For desert, homemade ice cream or sorbet. Good times.

  How to get WT Comments videos back up (with Knocking section)

  ok i think the best way to go about this is make this a david vs goliath issue.

  we should email every news outlet/online outlet we can think of.

  attach a copy of the email sent and make some bad publicity for pbs.

  Wasn't the communication from the producer of the KNOCKING film, or someone similar? Is it at all possible for V to respond to the message by explaining that the brief clip was used with the good-faith assumption that such use was permissible as "fair use" (considering the brief length, use in illustrating the purpose of the video as commentary, and non-commercial use), and if it has turned out not to be the case, could he still make a request for permission to use the clip (with an acknowledgement indicated on the page for each video)? I understand that granting permission may be unlikely, but when is it too late to ask?

  I honestly think this is your best bet. If you want to not go through the trouble of having ro re record everything, just try this approach, and see if it works. It may not work, but it may...
