  Remember the term: Heavy petting.

  i guess that would include tongue kissing, touching etc....the things two people do when they dig each other.

  heavy petting was a huge no no!.

  i remember sitting in front of three elders as a teenager spilling my guts about how i kissed this boy.

  Yes, I remember the term with a smile...a few questions come to mind, such as

  - What's "light" petting?

  - Can you pet yourself and it's okay or does that have to involve other people?

  - What's the exact approximation when it becomes petting, is it one touches, two?

  And yes, these are questions I actually asked back in the day, which of course, still reminds me of the looks of complete horror, coughing, and trying to change the topic...

  Oh, and I still thinking "petting" is about as sensual as it comes before intercourse.

  The Society is Upset: R&F Not Following the Recommended Lodging List

  an elder read a letter last night, and i practically giggled through the whole thing.

  his poorly manufactured gravitas was most amusing, given the ludicrous content of the letter.. it seems the society is pissed that the friends aren't choosing the "recommended lodging" when going to conventions.

  i remembered two important details about the letter.

  I believe you and I think there are explanations for what happened. Anything is possible and as I believe there are other lives forms in the universe, I believe that things happen all the time that defeat the standard explanations. Some of these things can be explained by basic explanations and some can not...

  i had no doubts at all about the 'truth' untill a friend of mine in the cong' began falling away.

  in trying to help him i had to ask questions and do research and that of course cracked the doors of my mind open for the first time in over thirty years.. years ago, when jwd allowed members to have signatures, i used the following quote from voltaire as mine.

  I can sum that up in one sentence: I started to have doubts because of the complete and total hypocrisy.
