  i have a question i hope someone can answer for me.. my folks are sick and elderly dubs and i worry the borg will hasten their death.

  they have those ridiculous blood card with an advanced directives pre-printed on them.

  they also have a person from the cong designated as their surrogate?

  over many threads i have argued and posted on what various indivdual versus in the bible say.

  I'm only very new here but from what I've read so far if I had to label EF I would label him passionate.

  IMO he is comfortable within his self and comfortable with his lifestyle (Not trying to put words in your mouth EF just an opinion). Good on him for trying to break down the bigotry and taboo of homosexuality. I think we all need to get over ourselves and stop judging people on stereotypical perceptions of how we have been taught minorities are.

  Just curious HappyDad would you be saying the same thing if someone was passionate about say; child abuse, drugs, rape, race, or whether you are a coke or pepsi person.

  Every body has there agendas. EF's is obvious. I don't take his posts to be self doubt more breaking down barriers.

  i just noticed this item on nationwide newsthe us southern baptist convention, representing the country's largest protestant denomination, has ended its eight-year-long boycott of the walt disney corporation over its allegedly pro-gay policies .... .

  has anyone heard of jw's boycotting businesses?

  years ago, an elder worked at the health food store downtown.

  what do ya'all think about this...'somewherelse' inquired as to whether my froggy avitar was in fact a tattoo that i'd had done, and it's got me thinking about it!

  i'm normally fairly opposed to body art, well for myself anyway.

  if you are going to get a tatt, i believe it should be something very personal, and very well thought out over a long period of time.

  After watching the Silent Lamb story the other week I decided to see what else I could find out about the dubs. My GF has been brought up in a JW household and although not one herself she carries alot of common dub traits.

  I got my hands on CoC last night too. Very good so far. I would like to see the org go down personally and all their skeletons come out. I did say org people not faith.
