I went from one border to the other-I think Texas is Amazing, but I am pretty sure that all my bits of language picked up from our Northern neighbors will soon be buried in "ya'all's" and "bless his heart's" and "I'm fixing's". I'll miss it!

In the interests of protecting myself from reading all their twaddle, could someone please give me the dummies version (is there any other?) of how they go from this generation being a group to being TWO groups? What possible biblical justification are they giving for this? (Short version please). Hell, I'm still trying to figure out how the generation was even given a start date, all things considered with how they came up with their myriad end dates. Now they have two groups, the generation and the ones they are trying to hang on to until at least 2034 when they come up with another explanation for the delay? (after they have convinced the sheep that they were misunderstanding everything we are reading now).

So the only remarkable thing is that they can bully people into building it at all since the size/time frame isn't remarkable. So why not mention the volunteers?

Can this be true?
by tenyearsafter ini was listening to a news report yesterday that said that after two weeks of being available to the public, only 226 people here in colorado had signed up for health coverage under the aca offered through the colorado state exchange.
that seems hard to grasp...the population here is over 5mm, so that works out to .0045% (if my math is correct) of the population signing up for health insurance.
the report also mentioned that besides the 226 that actually signed up for insurance coverage, another 2800 created a log in account, but made no insurance purchase.. do other states seem to have the same underwhelming response to this program?...either the program is flawed, or there isn't the demand for health coverage that the government anticipated and sold as fact to the american public.. i do know that my wife's current coverage was cancelled (as not compliant with aca requirements, whatever that means!

You will miss her and for that I am sad for you-but you have so many beautiful memories and she lived a good, long, happy life and went with a lot of love and peace. I think you were so blessed in your loss, and she was blessed in her leaving. Take care.

Why I can never escape abuse
by KariOtt ini have been abused in some way or another my entire life.

he physically molested me until i was 16 and we moved into a new house where i had a lock on my door.

Kari,
Whatever the rest of your story is, there is escape from abuse. See a counselor about getting out of the cycle that you find yourself in. Don't let the bastards get you down.
I believed I was the homely one for years. There is more than one kind of beauty and more than one kind of ugly. The outward is the least important and truly, ultimately, the only thing that will show is what is on your inner self. When you finally see the beauty inside of you, it will shine on the outside of you and no one will think of saying that you are not beautiful because all they can see is the part that matters. When you know it, when you stop focusing on that outwardly homely little girl, the beautiful woman that you are or can be can emerge. Let her.
