they roped off areas because if you were all crammed together in the stadium, they wanted to get THOSE shots for their photos, videos, etc. It looks more impressive to others if its crowded. You know we see pics of sparsely populated venues and it just looks kind of sad-even pathetic.
they were just ensuring some good pics. It would be nice if they would just ensure that everyone got a seat with a good view and easy access to restrooms that didn't threaten you if you use more than one towel, but. . .
As to the Indians, I still wonder what the heck the org was thinking! Idiots.

Lenna, you will be fine. The people who love you will chalk up your zealousness to your age and youth. A LOT is forgivable and many will be happy to indulge your little folly.
If you can go to a trusted non JW family member and tell them whats going on, your doubts, etc, they will likely support you and get the word out so that no one bugs you about it. (depending on your family, some get nosy, some just sweep under rugs of love). People that love you will be RELIEVED that you are over "that phase'. don't be offended, they will call it your JW phase forthe rest of your life and that is probably the extent to which it will ruin you. OTOH, you will be OUT and you will not be dragging in your husband or future children. They are going to love you and not give a crack about this.Your kids will bless you as they go to scouts, play sports and sing in the school choir.
You have all of life before you. Soon this will just be a bad choice that you quickly righted. If Brittney Spears can come back, and Robert Downey Jr. can, then your little escapade with the JWs is so rightable.
Right on, girl!

You will be ok. I don't know anything about your marriage, but just because you married for the wrong reasons doesn't mean it is doomed. It means that like every marriage, you need to work at it. It is worth it or it isn't but your husband isn't a JW, is he? Plus. You are not baptised. PLUS. You haven't done anything other than the marriage that changes your status-you didn't go awol from army, right? You are twenty. You will do fine.
As to eternity. Read scripture, Value Wisdom when you recognize it, pay attention to where you are getting your information, don't accept things at face value. Pray. Even if you don't know about God, pray, pour out your concerns and your issues and your joys and your sorrows. Use it as a kind of therapy (I've always thought that prayer is more about us pouring it out than God needing to hear-he already knows it all).
Talk to your husband and see how he feels about the marriage. It's HIS life too. If there is love between the two of you, an early marriage is not fatal. And neither is an early divorce if that is what you decide on. Use birth control until you have figured that bit out. Nothing is guaranteed, but at this point, I think it wise to hold off on that particular joy.
Take care!

I wonder why they don't think that the Gujarati bros and sisters would like to visit with everyone else? Did they have a different language session or something? That is the only reason I could think they would try to segregate and even that is pretty lame as most people like meeting people from other places. I bet they took one look at the segregation and all went home. OTOH, ifthey are Indian natives, they proably went to the car park and ate their own lunches and made tea the way they like it on a burner.
Recent immigrant Indians are not likely to eat out unless required to and are likely to make tea the way they like it. I'm related to many- I know of what I speak.
I imagine you are in UK (tea reference) . If you get a chance, try Kashmiri tea at an Indian or Paki tea place. It's awesome!! Or Karak, which is an Arabic version of Indian style tea (usually with cardamom. OMG)

i love my kindle-never lost a book, but if Amazon charges me for anything, it is always re-downloadable. My only problem was my charger, but I was using my phone charger which seems the same, but my kindle doesn't prefer it. Anyway, they sent me a new one and after I realized what MY problem was. So, I have two kindles (they didn't want the old one back for some reason).
The charger is a PITB and it is hard to find the Belkin case that i have for my kindle fire now because of all the new models. It is leather and hot pink, but nearly 3 years old now and its looking a little ratty, so I want a new one (Its kinda perfect!) I need to look around for that again. LOVE my Kindle and if not for the fact that it works great, Iwould buy more of them (but I already have a spare).

Should show them the Heb. 9:27 thread on Topix (JW Forum). Discussing the idea of men dying once and facing the judgment.

Stephen Lett (Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses) Publicly Counsels Politicians During Convention Keynote Address In Africa
by jwleaks inzambia: fulfill promises ... jehovah's witnesses counsel politicianstimes of zambia.
august 23, 2014. by chatula kampo.
a top jehovah's witnesses' world leader has bemoaned politicians' failure to fulfill campaign promises.. stephen lett, who gave a keynote speech at the on-going convention held at levy mwanawasa stadium in ndola, said politicians needed to meet the aspirations of people who vote them into public offices.. meanwhile, conversion overseer john mashilipa has urged fellow witnesses to respect the government of the day, obedient and continue remaining non-partisan.. in the keynote address streamed live from solwezi district in the north-western province, mr lett, one of the seven members of the world governing body said electorates expected much from the people they vote for.. "there is need for politicians to fulfill their promises to their voters once they assumed power," he said.. he observed that most politicians failed to fulfill promises to their voters who had high expectations.. "politicians usually promise a moon and not deliver to their promises, this is disappointing to the voters who have high expectations," he said.. mr mashilipa said believers needed to seek god's kingdom which he said never fails, unlike human governance.. this year's conversion attracted a historic attendance of more than 40,000 people from across the five districts in the province namely; ndola, kitwe, luanshya, mufulira, kalushi and chambishi.. gathered under the theme 'keep seeking first god's kingdom', witnesses filled the stadium and those who could not find seats monitored proceedings from outside.

As soon as JWs have the all clear to vote, then they can complain about politicians not doing what they were voted in to do!

Turns out it was true - "the truth" was the only reason my marriage lasted so long

My half assed opinion-let him go, take your kids and set him free to be happy and learn to support himself. You may not think he is a total loser-he may have redeeming qualities, but the marriage is over, he just wants the fringe benefit of a sugar momma, without having to give up any sugar. Lose him.
