Explain please how man is responsible for sin, if sin is an integral component of the universe that GOD created? This is a DESIGN FLAW, and therefore, the DESIGNER
is to be held accountable. Jesus has nothing to do with the equation because it was god who endowed us with the ability and capacity for sin and evil, if he is our creator and designer.

I think for the true believers, its like a shot of adrenaline....my grand-ma used to get so fired up about the the DCs she would transcribe ALL the talks in short-hand then TYPE them out word for word when she got home!! For us poor saps who were dragged there by parents or spouses....all it accomplished is numbing our asses and deep vein thrombosis sitting in those hellish stadium chairs...

Does you family still cling to the hope that you are coming back, even if your are DF'd or have been out of the WTS for decades?

That is so true! I think they do a great job of appearing really interested and excited about it, at least thats how the non-chinese dub perceives it! Imagine how much money they are saving by not paying for language school and the non-chinese dub gets the satisfaction of having all these enthusiastic converts (because they tell a friend, and so-on and so-on) next thing the dub has 20 bible studies with the entire immigrant community...think of the hours to report! LOL.....Do any of these 'studies' lead to baptisms? Confucious say NO!! LOL

being called the truth really sets the statement apart from lets say.....the lies.
In my experience, when a dub uses the phrase "the truth" to describe the WTS, its used more as a cultural description then a reference to some 'truth' in and of itself, e.g. "oh so and so left the truth..." or "I had dinner last night with some friends in the truth".... It often used as a descriptor of their little "social clique" to separate them from "worldly"....which is an equally absurd expression. Given the number of times that "truth" has changed for them, it seems they have no semantic concept of truth.

Im from toronto and my impression is there are TONS of toronto dubs having studies with the influx of chinese (including my mother, LOL). But heres whats really funny, they are using the "bible studies" for two reasons...learning english and having the DUB help them with their immigration papers! I know several dubs who have complained that virtually all of their chinese studies keep pestering them to help them fill out the immigration forms in proper english! ITs priceless!!!!!!

If god created the universe out of nothingness, then logically, everything within that universe is his own creation. Ergo, god created evil. You can argue that he did not directly
create 'evil' and 'sin' but gave us the free will to choose evil and sin....its irrelevant. If god endowed humans with choice, he himself CREATED the two sides of that choice, good and evil. The problem with your analogy is that the old man on the boat is also the creator and designer of the boat and of the young man. IF there exists the possibility for evil and sin and imperfection in the boat or the young sailor, the designer of said objects is solely responsible.
Your analogy is like the Ford car company saying, hey, we made a bunch of faulty automobiles, but the danger only happens if the driver CHOOSES to go over 65 miles an hour, therefore, we are not responsible for the design flaw and if the driver dies due to this flaw, its his own fault. This is what your god has done, created hopelessly flawed creatures, then washes his hands of them and blames THEM for the havoc they create on earth. Does this really make sense to you?
