Excellent post. Another piece of biological evidence comes from chromosomal division in mammalian cells. With each division, the telomeres regulating this process get progressively shorter, to the point where the cell can no longer divide and simply dies of its own accord.....if humans were "designed" for eternal life, such a self-destruction mechanism would not have been built into the molecular machinery of all of our cells. Even stem cells are restricted in their locations and ability to repopulate regions of cell loss. So, we are all born with a limited warranty.....

If a JW widower remarries, what happens to the poor spouse at resurrection?
by kid-A inthis always weirded me out...if a jw's spouse dies (and lets assume they were reasonably young) and that widower re-marries, has a big happy family, etc etc.... now imagine resurrection day.....the last thing you remember is this person was the love of your life, your entire universe, your raison d'etre, and surprise!
they have moved on without you, and you are left high and dry....can you imagine the psychological nightmare this would be for the "resurrected"????
would you even want to come back to that??

Indeed, only in the witness universe are 7 year old children warned of the day they will have to shovel all the dead bodies into the mass graves....I remeber hearing the exact same thing when I was about that age.....hard to imagine....

After my un-DF'ing, I have sent a letter to everyone in my hall.

Do you find the bible boring?

however, the older i got the more boring the bible seemed.
obviously, it had a lot to do with repetition.

I completely agree. Which is difficult to understand, I mean, the bible has pretty much got it all in terms of plot and characters, sex, violence, war, scandals, intrigue, climactic ending....but I dont know.....its just so painfully tedious to read.....maybe it just loses its punch when its translated from the original languages, like so many other great pieces of literature.

I believe jehoobah has recently hired George Lucas and DreamWorks (TM) to create the special FX for armageddon. Last I heard, John Williams was going to be composing the score, the role of Jesus will be played by Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson will be satan.
