Yes, I would agree with their position that there is no hell, and that the dead are "conscious of nothing at all". I agree with their recognition that pretty much all holidays have pagan origins (and I now 'celebrate' all of them! LOL). That would be about it....

You all must remember the famous one with the young pioneer "sister" calling on the door of a serial killer all by herself, and finding out later that the reason she hadnt been attacked was because there were 2 tall, burly men standing behind her, as observed by the potential killer? Two bad-ass angels standing behind her!! yeah !!!

jw may have it's share of folklore but it's not only jw's.. there are many things people believe in that are superstitious or is it really?.
what do you consider superstitious beliefs?.
folklore, taboos, bizarre beliefs,omens,.
Thats the irony of it, the JWs swear off all the "pagan" holidays, etc etc, yet are perhaps the most superstitious people I have ever met!!
Talking demonic smurfs, "demonized" antiques being bought at garage sales,,, and of course, all mental illness is due to demonic influences!!

while researching i came across a few.
It was an eery experience and quite remarkable actually seeing the man talk. He clearly had charisma and was a great orator, as misled as I believe he was. Incredible that such footage exists. Thanks for providing that Randy.

my preferred social construct would be a group of 5 to 10 men sharing space, chores, well everything.. if i were heterosexual i think i would prefer the same situation, 2 or 3 families living together and sharing all.. actually i believe this should be a worldwide goal, total community in every sense of the word.. i see no advantage served by social and sexual diads.. please explain it to me.
