I wasn't saying it is necessarily the healthiest way but a lot of people have deeper emotional issues that come into play that make it hard to just tell everyone they've ever known to 'screw off, I'm outta here'.

You always pop up to delegitimize what people are going through trying to fade.
Why can't you just understand it's not that easy for a lot of us to just give the finger to our family, friends and decades of indoctrination and expectations. In my case, a century of tradition.
Give it a rest already.
We know, we know... "You were so strong".
Well, a lot of us are still 'struggling' and despite your incessant badgering to tell everyone to fuck off, it's not that easy for a lot of us.

It's just my personality to go the fade route, but I can't handle it anymore. I lost respect for myself. I won't write a DA letter out of respect for family. But, I'm thinking of telling everyone, I'm going through some issues and need a break from everything.
That is EXACTLY where I am right now. EXACTLY!
I even discussed with a family member last week about just throwing in the towel and DA myself already.
Problem is, my kids and family.
This is sheer hell.

by flipper injust finished the chapter in ray's " christian freedom " book on " misuse of disfellowshipping .
i highly recommend anyone reading it as it has numerous experiences of individuals who were mistreated so unjustly by the wt society's rigid rules - many in spite of 40, 50, or 60 yrs.
of faithful alleigance to the wt society's rules.

Medical People: Lipitor vs Zocor (Simvastatin)? Which do you recommend??

when treating a person with high cholesterol, which do you prefer: lipitor or zocor (simvastatin)?
if a person begins treatment with lipitor, is it necessary to use it for the rest of that person's life?

Please do not take this as medical advise.
My Dad was put on Lipitor and later went to a pretty renown Doctor in the area and was taken off it on the spot. Dr. told him it is one of the most dangerous prescription drugs on the market.
Then my mom was in the hospital and I overheard a nurse talking about Lipitor so I asked her. She said it's becoming known as a bad drug.
Then I went myself to a wellness/hormone replacement doctor a while later and asked him and he concurred.
All I've ever personally heard from health professionals is that Lipitor may do more harm than good.
Just make sure to do your due diligence.
