Well you look younger than me.

I also just bought the new Chili Peppers and the new Pearl Jam CDs. Also, still cranking out the Weezer CD from last year for my kids on the way to the KH because they like it so much. LOL

Don't worry, when you get a bit older, you'll like some mushy stuff too!

Isn't it a big No-No for Dubs to refer to KH as CHURCH?

last saturday i was at my favorite coffee shop with my three year old son -- great place because it has a train table to entertain the kids while mom has some coffee.

first thing i notice is what appears to be dubs but on closer inspection the two daughters look way too trendy to be dubs -- the parents, however, are spot on and were so dubesque i nearly laughed out loud.

so, hanging out having coffee with some other moms and i notice the daughters of the above mentioned family keep smiling at my son.

I use the term Church but it is basically not acceptable. But how else would someone know what you're talking about?

Desperately seeking fade

i really want out but keep going for personal reasons.. my question: has anyone else during their fade period gone off the school, quit do-t-do and just gone to the sunday meeting?.

that's where i'm at right now but it's a living hell still 'being' a publisher but being a lump at the same time..

Story time

let's create a story!!!.

terry awoke to the smell of bacon and eggs.

the alarm clock had gone off two times before and gone into snooze mode.

It was the scurrying of the household in its attempt to not be late for the meeting.

The alarm clock malfunction would without a doubt bring reproof and council from the elders as a poor excuse for being late to the Kingdom Hall again.

Terry decided to throw out the bacon and eggs as they surely are a trap of the Devil to distract her from the spiritual food that awaits!

She settles on a screwdriver and a Xanax to get her through the morning.

Special talk

we had our "special" talk on sunday.. it was incredible.

it was all about what happened in the garden of eden and the issue of universal sovereignty.

i was fascinated!

I have to refute that a little bit.

I think the Org. does a pretty good job in it's portrayal of Jesus.

For example, the 'Greatest Man' book to me is pretty good.

P.S. Except of course that I believe Jesus DID die on a cross not a stake.
