  i need a myspace alternative for our 13-year-old daughter.

  do any of you know of any sites where young teens can safely communicate?

  i realize that nowhere on the internet is truly safe without heavy parental supervision, but if y'all have any suggestions, please let me know.. thanks,.

  Jehovah's promises conditional?

  a comment was made at my circuit assembly that bothered me.. "jehovah will keep his promises to you if you keep your promises to him.".

  so now, i guess, jehovah can make a promise and recant it at any time?.

  just bugged me.. .

  how long can the society keep insisting that the preaching work is so successful when there is virtually zero (alright 1.5%) growth?.

  interestingly, the society has excluded the percent gain/loss column online.

  you who don't know -- i'm daed but my mother still sends me very short e-mail about every two months.. this morning she sent me an email that said:.

  25 today.

  it would be sooooo wrong for someone to say -- "happy birthday" .. but its fine to mention that i am 25 today.

  Your Opinion Wanted-What should really be done to child molesters?

  i have not tried to hide my past as a victim of this, but this is always an area that i have to fight my personally feelings as to what should be done to child molesters.

  they ruin lives, scar an individual for a lifetime!.

  should they be incarcerated for life, castrated, turned over to the family member(s), public humiliation like a branding everywhere they go, tortured and or death penality?.

  an elder friend just asked me the most simple question.. "if you had all the power, would you still let the world be like this?"..

  i answered "of course not".. then he just said "hmmm"..

  Can you explain that to the "Flat Screens for Idiots" crowd?

  The reason is I just got a beautiful Visio LCD 47' and I think it looks great and the picture is fabulous.

  I don't get though how it appears to be a 'widescreen' TV however it shows things that are still cut off? I know I sound pathetic but hey, I'm an athlete not an electronics guy! LOL

  Any explanation?

  this mornings events have got me thinking about things.

  i love peanut butter, not the sweet kind but i like the old fashioned peanut butter, usually laura scudder's with no sugar or preservatives - it just tastes better imo.

  i put it on everything including pancakes which are really good with peanut butter and maple syrup.
