  Why do the WTBTS and Illuminati have similar beliefs?

  'the illuminati are believed to be the brains behind the events which supposedly lead to a new world order in which the world will be run by a single fascist government and a large postion of the human race will be eliminated.'.

  i found this quote in wikipedia, to be interesting down to the wtbts much quoted 'new world order.'.

  i don't think this phrase is used so much nowadays but i do remember it being bandied about a lot in the past.. other than that....they seem to share the same aspirations..

  i found out what was up w/ desmond making that lightning rod out of the golf club.. 'k....so.... remember when hurley was going back to the beach and he ran into desmond and was like, "dude!

  Only two more new episodes, and then nothing until February. J.J. Abrams is on the verge of losing me.

  I've started to feel the same way. Either I see some real payoff this season or they may very well end up losing me as a viewer, and I was a bitch to get in the first place.

  Assuming 10% contribution...

  .10x20000 salary x30 years = 60000

  vs.

  .10x50000 salary... ... x6 years, we'll say? = 30000

  Of course, they would be best served by moderating the dogma in the long run, but since they assume only a short run... Hell, I haven't a clue as to what they must be thinking...

  Doubtful many know this artist, but I just saw Jude live in a very small venue here in Dallas. He had a track on the City of Angels album titled "I Know" and has a song that will be played on an episode of the OC shortly.

  Anyhow, it was great. We got to stand less than five feet in front of him. It was a small crowd of true fans, very intimate. I got to speak with him briefly after the show to express how much his music has touched my life, blah-blah, then we gave each other hugs and I left. Oh, and he signed my ticket stub.

  A poor quality of life for its constituency is necessary to support its insistence that life in "this world" sucks, and the WBTS subsequent control over them. Well, sure it does suck if you're a high school dropout trying to support a family of three on a salary of 25k and still expected to maintain active field service, meeting attendance, etc., and insist that your job work around your rigorous religious schedule.

  They're afraid that if JWs go to college, they'll have less control over them.
