God only hears and listens to the prayers of JW's!

this is what i learned growing up as a jdub.

it was one of the many reasons crammed down my throat as to why i had to go door knocking on saturday mornings when i was only 7. i heard it from the podium, from the annointed, etc.

that's right - everyone not praying to jehovah, through jesus, was praying directly to satan!

Besides, why are you asking other people these questions? You need to seek within yourself for any answers.

Note how he keeps straightening out the left side of his shirt to make sure you don't see inside it? Kind of messes up the illusion for me.

What kind of "real" Christian lets the kids do Halloween?

as you all know we have been out of the tower about 3 years now.

i am still a christian but my hubby thinks of himself more as an agnostic.

anyway, my son who is 12 asked if he could go trick or treating with my nieghbor and her son just to try it as it never has - and i said it was up to him to decide.

I feel that a true Christian would not let thier children do Halloween.

LOL! Hmmm... maybe I'll go as a "True Christian"... pretty scary in their own way and at least as equally imaginary.

The only problem I can see would be... well, what the heck does a "True Christian" look like since no one has ever seen one?

a while back, i registered to vote.

i even voted in our primary (nonpartisan issues only at this point--i'm still finding my "center.

at the time, my wife asked me if all this voting stuff we were getting all of a sudden was some new thing the state was doing--maybe you just get enrolled to vote when your drivers license renews, or something.

Do you want to know something really funny? Hilarious really... A surprising number of the people I know who have interest in the occult or are practicing witches, magicians, etc. were raised in strict Christian families. FWIW, so-called "devil-worshippers" are dorks and idiots. As are the majority of the self-proclaimed "satanists" I've ever met.
