It is actually sorted by title, alphabetically, 777 being the title of the first, The Basic Writings of C.G. Jung being the second, and Battlefield Earth the third, etc.
Click on that little blue link next to "Display Styles" A B C D that says "edit".
You should see a list with dropdowns where you can choose what columns are viewed. You should be able to choose Title for one, in whichever position you like, etc. To change what criteria it is sorted by, you click on the column header, sort of how you would in other Microsoft applications. When you add the Title column, I suspect you'll see the little blue arrow on the column header pointing down. Click it and it will resort the other way.
It is odd that it should sort it by a column you're not viewing though.

WT monitors sites?
by Gordy inthere was a post on the other day someone was asking about whether the wt monitors websites such as this and other "apostate" sites.. unfortunately i couldn't find it to add this to it.
i remembered a jw who worked on installing computers at london bethel, some time ago telling me that the wt did monitor websites.
this jw is gradually fading away from being one, so can't say to much about him.

Now, when someone replies to the thread or to your post, a log entry is added to your webserver
But isn't it true that one need not even do that since the transparent .gif loads from the webserver on simply viewing the page the first time?

This link might work better for some.
* edit - Hmm... maybe not. Unless I copy the URL and paste it into my browser, I get a message like the "article could not be found" or some$41T.

Leo... hmm... that's not been my experience. I'm using IE 6 and if I choose the default Display Style "A", my books are ordered alphabetically. If you click the "edit" link to the left, you should be able to customize your sort order.
An odd thing I've noted in Firefox is that my tab for "Add Books" reads "Zeitgeist" instead.
Hmmm... maybe the WBTS should retranslate "generation" to zeitgeist. At least then it would make sense with their current "understanding".

You guys have some impressive libraries. I find you can tell so much about a person from the books on their shelves. I'll keep adding to mine as I have time.

Well, at very least, they could easily enough determine what areas have active "apostates" in them and put the local bodies on alert.
Hmmm... is this topic on the Private area?
