  i recently viewed the debutante event of my greatniece.. a beautiful ceremony, of course she was not a jw.. my grand daughters (jws), i think about what would.

  No room; It,s A event for young ladies who excel in

  high school. It,s A formal event where the parents

  formally present their daughter to society. There

  was 30 young ladies and none with A grade point

  average lower then 3.3.. They receive grants from

  various organization for their excellence.

  One final thought. The government need A revision

  for tax exempt religious organization. Any religion that

  causes disunity for the citizens of this country should

  not receive tax exempt status.

  First of all, tax exemption is A privilge not A right.

  Most people are aware that A church or religious

  organization can lose their tax exempt status for

  engaging in partisan political activity, like endorsing

  A political candidate (they don,t enforce that one).

  What many aren,t aware of , though, is that the

  same can happen for promoting or engaging in

  things contrary to government policy.

  Conscientious objective. Why would the

  government grant exempt status to A organization

  that openly tell it,s members not to serve for their country

  and let others die for you. Why should they have the privilege

  of no taxes.

  I wish I could have the faith (again) that you folks have.

  My brother (JW elder) told me, because you do not have

  Jehovah,s spiritual direction and when you read from the Bible

  it,s not God,s words but Satan,s influence.

  The bible is very clear to me then ever before.

  The analogy about the dog, well I think it mean the

  same today as in Jesus day. "It is not fair to take the

  children,s bread and throw it to the dogs" no hidden meaning

  throw the leftovers to the dogs.

  And the Canaanite woman, she was A pest. Jesus perform

  that healing just to get rid of her. Why did she need to beg

  Jesus to save her daughter. he is the Saviour of mankind.

  It,s obvious she had faith in Jesus, she followed them.
