  Brothers divorceing, DF, marry younger sisters and later reinstated.

  a few years back, when my elder brother was still talking.

  to me, he mention that, brothers was divorceing there wife.

  and marring younger sisters.

  It,s sad, but this cult encourage this behavior,why do I

  say this. I know some may not agree, but let me explain;

  All three were elders, all three had heavy responsibilities

  in the congregation and with their famlies. If there is any

  problems in the marriage, you don,t have time to work on it.

  Elders are told by members of the congregation, all their

  problems and many are of the sexual nature. Sisters(single)

  trying to stay spirtual clean, unhappy sisters in the marriage.

  These men are not train for the type of counsel. You have

  A young sister come to you and tell you she is having

  problems of the sexual nature (natural human behavior), or

  the husband is not fullfilling his duty (marriage bed).

  Two of the elders mention above was counseling these

  these women, and married them.

  A few years back, when my Elder brother was still talking

  to me, he mention that, brothers was divorceing there wife

  and marring younger sisters. My years in the borg, I can

  only remerber three cases that this happpen. One

  brother is not in the borg but his wife is still in, she was

  much younger, another brother is A elder today and his wife

  A lot yonger then his first wife. The 3rd brother, he divorce

  his wife, she didn,t want the truth, he married A woman,

  lets say he had retired from the post office, she was in her

  early twenties.

  From what my brother was saying, one would think A pattern

  was taking place among the brothers, dump the old lady and

  set out for A few years , get reinstated and marry one of

  the younger sisters.

  Have any of you seen this in your congregation?

  I have tought about this same subject. Would the KH

  overflow with ex-members, if they drop the shunning,

  the blood issue, and education policy. Well they would

  be like other religions.

  Then I thought about it, in my case I was raised as A Baptist,

  my life as A child was great, my Mom and Dad were great folks.

  If I had not become A JW, I would be in that faith today.

  Can you say the same for the ones that was rasied as JW,s.

  From what I have read here, most had terrible experinces

  as A child. Would one return to A organization with such

  bad memories, and raise thier kids the same.

  I think an undercover apostate was sitting near me at the meeting this afternoon

  this brother was sitting near me today at the hall and when the public speaker started talking about the signs of the last days this guy started whispering something to his wife and kind of mocking the speaker in a quiet voice.

  his wife looked really pissed off.. i've suspected this guy before by some of the stuff he's said and done and some of the #3 talks hes given he's gone off the assigned topic quite a bit.. during the wt study i was doing mics and i happened to walk by him several times.

  his wt was on the floor and his bible was opened to topic for conversation at the end of the bible at the last days part.. a little while later his wife gave him the look and said something to him and he picked up his unprepared wt and followed along.. hoser.

  I also heard that testimony and it was A Catholic priest.

  I was told by ministers in the door door work, they

  admire our works (door too door work), but to make

  the statement you have the truth, please give me A

  break.

  i was df'd when i was 20 or so for fornication.

  i got reinstated when i was 24. i had a son during that time and i was worried about us if we didn't get back to the fold and 'protection' of the organization.

  so happy I made the right decision.

  What The Hell...my JW ex-wife just knocked on my door in field service...

  so get this...this is one strange occurrence that almost ended in awkward disaster.

  so i took the week off from work to do some home reno projects.

  this morning i was doing some yard work and just finished mowing the front yard.

  I would be afraid if my ex-wife knocked on my door.

  She would call the field sevice group togather in front

  of my house, sing kingdom songs and yell, satan come

  out. There would be A misunderstanding, it would be

  ugly. My ex hate me with A vengeance.

  Empty: I totally agree, "selfishness on their part to control our lives.

  I was hung up for years on this, I could not live up to Jehovahs

  standards, I wanted to do my own thing.

  Being true to oneself is A skill. It might be the single most

  improtant skill we can acquire. A Zen poem expresss the

  art of it in the simlest terms.

  I eat when I'm hungry.

  I drink when I'm thirsty.

  I sleep when I'm tired.

  How wonderful.

  For many people, the very closest they will come to being

  true to themselves happens during the earliest days of

  their lives, when they cried when they felt like crying,

  puked when they had to puke, slept when they were

  tired. Yet, those days soon ended. As we grew, we were

  increasingly taught to ignore ourselves and our wants

  and needs. To sit still when we wanted to move about.

  To be quiet when we wanted to yell. To learn subjects

  we did not want to study. To hold jobs we did not want

  to hold. Much of what we learned about denying ourseleves

  was necessary, for us to live and function in this world.

  So, can one be true to oneself and not be selfish.

  My daughter think I'm selfish because I want come back

  to the JW cult.
