Are they going to keep lowering the bar to be appointed an MS or Elder???

my mother told me of 2 young guys that have been appointed elders.. i could'nt belive it these guys have zero life experance and both their wifes walked out on them after a few years of marrage.. another one cooked his brain on drugs and his talks are painfull to listen to....all over the place and stumbles through them.. .

is it due to alot of young ones (60 to 70%) leaving and the pool to pick from is getting smaller so lowering the bar is the only way???

When I was A elder I always felt uncomfortable counselling
someone the same age as my parents. I was appointed as
A elder at 29. Appointing men so young will come back and
bite them in the butt. If you are A man and some young buck
come up to you and counsel you on , how you should handle
your family. Me I would think, what the hell, here,s A kid the
same as my kids or younger and he is going to tell me the
facts of life, please.
When I came into the borg. all the elders were around
40 and above, so it was easy excepting their counsel,
and all of these men were not born in, they had come from
the world so I felt they new what they was talking about.

One of the problems that irritate me about the JW,s
is they beleive the world is below them. As a whole
their religion is superior then all others. So when you
have some one that is constanly bragging how perfect
they are you love to see them fall. Remerber the minster
that was so out spoken against homosexual and was
caught having sex with other men, the hypocrisy.
After I left the borg. I join my old church (Baptist).
One thing I notice, the Minister new that members
of his church were alcoholics, some of the sisters were
loose. He would say, you know brother Joe drinks A bit,
but he is trying, sister hots also is doing the best she can.
Ok I can except that, no one is perfect, so you shouldn,t
expect perfection from your brother.

Leto: I didn,t thank of that, I was so angry. For A
block or so he walk behind us. We came to A stop
light and he stood behind us. You know when you
can feel someone staring at you, I looked around and
he was looking dead at me, dam nut case.

This morning the wife and I out for our morning walk. Our
little quiet city (Monrovia CA) the residents will often walk
down town(just A few blocks). It nice with people eating
out on the sidewalks and window shopping. This was
around 8 am. I notice A man approaching a couple
walking in our direction. I knew instantly he was A JW.
He approach us, before he could say A word I tild him
no thanks, my wife reach for the WT and I told her
we do not need any more trash or garbage in our house.
He look at me and my wife also, she told me later, she could
not beleive I said that. My God, these people bug you
at your homes and now when you are having A nice
morning walk they are bugging you. Give me A break.

The funny thing about the sister that came on to me,
I ask her, you do not remerber me, I know your ex
and when I said we went to the same KH years ago,
she sobered real fast and left.

A few years ago I attended the bar in A lodge. It was
A private establishment, but groups could rent it out
for private parties. Doing the time I work the bar, I saw
several JW that attend these events. Some new me and
others because they were young when I saw them last
didn,t know who I was. Anyway, I saw some crazy things
going on. Sisters and Brothers that was married flirting , A brother that new I use to be A JW,
confine in me his infidelity (MS), A sister that came on to me,
she didn,t remerber me when we attend the same KH.
All these people were active JWs, all in their 40,s and above.

The vow of poverty might well be questioned,
especially when the world as A whole is trying
to eraducate poverty. A life of hardship is neither
neccessary nor righteous.
It,s A scam, and the hypocrisy.
By law, A vow of perpetual poverty may be taken
by it,s members, this not preclude the order itself
from owning corporately any estate or effects.
You see the hypocrisy. When these people leave
bethel the state may have to take care of some
of them.

That,s insane. I know many bethelites realize "millions
living today will die in this system." The end is not near as
much as they preach it.
The vow of proverty, yea right, who is going to take care of
their broke ass when they are kick out after years of service.
They certainly can not count on their saving from years of
service at bethel.
