  ok, so, brother morris seems to have gone out on a limb with his comments about tight pants.

  yup, he's an opinionated man.

  but, i fully expect that there will be some reference to the scientific wisdom behind his words.

  Homosexuals don't breed, so the quality of their sperm is not important. JWs should not procreate in these final few seconds of the last days, so there sperm quality should not be a factor for them either.

  Jehovah's organization growing like never before: but bible studies are way down. Huh?

  so the governing body likes to keep claiming incredible growth.

  at the same time they claim bible studies are way down.

  are the finally admitting what we've known all along, that they can no longer recruit outsiders?

  There can be growth without new recruits when inactive members return. I feel this is the case with all the excitement around 100 years since 1914, new website, Ebola and a couple of wars. I doubt they will be able to have such success in the next few years with former members.

  seriously, i am so thankful that the org has officially allowed the use of ipads and tablets at the kingdom hall!.

  it is the only thing that keeps me sane while sitting there....being able to log on to this site while pretending to follow along with the program!.

  i think i would have literally lost my mind without this lifeline!.

  Nice to see the support they are getting from rescue workers, hospital staff and even the president, despite the labels the Watchtower places upon these wordly people. I can imagine the team of elders from the hospital liaison committee swarming around the injured and dying ensuring they are not administered blood.

  on oct. 22, eight brothers were released from prison in turkmenistan by presidential amnesty.

  (see 2014 yearbook, p. 31) the ninth brother is still imprisoned, but it is hoped that he will be released shortly.

  some were already in prison for three or more years and had been severely mistreated.

  Pretty standard growth. Not as impressive as I expected given the huge push of 100 years of Jesus. Baptisms were the same as most years despite all the activity, so the additional growth was inactive JWs getting all enthused again. That won't last long.

  300k views with only 9000 signing up for studies shows it was mostly JWs just checking out the page.

  i used to be an elder for more than 20 years .

  i have successfully faded with my wife and children.

  The JWs will be split into three types.

  The nice ones that treat you normally as if nothing changed

  The judgemental ones that completely ignore you

  The uber ones - expect a few of these - that remind you how bad the world has become and that you need to come back to the hall of you want to survive. I had a number of people tell me that at my fathers funeral.

  You may also get a few comments about how great jw.org and have you checked it out.
