  Tactics to sway my family from the JW organization

  i've been thinking lately about how i can get my family out of the organization.

  my dad was once an elder (has been df'd once).

  my mom was once a regular pioneer (hasn't in over 10 years and doesn't even work).

  Is it new light when a doctrine is changed back to the original position? superior authorities/organ transplants

  Is it new light when a doctrine is introduce and it is wrong? 1925

  Did Jehovah wait 60 years to introduce the blood rules, and then another 60 years to greatly soften them?

  It all sounds like an organisation led by men. You need to get those points across in a way in which they can reason on them over time.

  when i was rethinking the wts i did most of my research by going back to old books and steering clear of "apostate" material, so i knew the wrong dates, pyramids etc and made my mind up before reading any apostate sites.

  when i finally read crisis of conscience i already knew a lot of the information in it, though i still really enjoyed it.

  however, even after i knew the wts was a con i still did not have answers for some of the doctrines, like great crowd/other sheep and organisation.

  CF does logically follow on from COC. Luna, stick to it. The first couple of chapters are a bit wordy, but there is some really interesting things in it as you go. It makes me see that there is a benefit to Christianity. It is organised, institutionalised religion that has a lot to answer for.

  It is pretty funny to see DefD talking to himself, I think he is just trying to get his number of posts up, is there some kind of frequent flier award system. Maybe he doesn't want to be called a Jedi Master, there is a kind of evil ring to it.

  Grave yard shifts are pretty tough. I did night watch for a couple of months, and if you drift into sleep at around 4am it is shocking trying to wake up again.

  I'm here but being told to get off the computer, put out the rubbish etc, marriage is a joy. It's 10:30pm, and defd you say it is 2:30am, I can't work these time zones out. It seems there are only about 5 Aussies that post on week nights.
