I have news!!!
by Cabin in the woods init is amazing what can be done when there is a support system in place.
even when that system is almost totally verbal alone.. last night i told my dh that i was not content to just be an apostate but i want to do anything and everything i can to expose them and i have chosen to do this using my real name.
i followed that up by saying that there might even be some threats against me.

Did I miss something? Is this the new resolution at the D.Convention?
by Star Moore in1. we are determined to intensify our preaching activity.
2. to live up to our dedication to jehovah and give him exclusive devotion.
3. to follow jesus' example closely and be no part of the world.

Seriously? No entertainment? Did they elaborate on that specifically? Because that could mean no tv, computers, books, newpapers, children's games etc.
And of course anything that might remotely bring you bring you pleasure. Way to suck the joy out of living.

How much should a married woman show?
by greendawn indo you think a married woman should go out provocatively dressed?
some of my friends accept it some don't and one had big arguments with his wife about the issue until the time when he cunningly got her to become overweight something that spoilt her good looks.
think of it, a married woman going out wearing tight shorts showing so much leg and buttocks and a top that reveals too much breast, as if almost saying "i am going out to entice some men", should a dignified husband accept that?

As much as she wants and is comfortable with.
I can't stand the idea that a woman needs to change once she gets married. AS long as there is mutual respect and that's all that matters.

I have never lost anyone close to me and I dread the day that I do. I don't know if we can ever be prepared to handle death?
I hope he goes peacefully and I'm sorry you are hurting.

Sorry, need to moan and belly ache
by Elsewhere ini normally try not to moan and belly ache here, but today i'm really down.
the other day i was kidding and joking about being "socially-challenged", it can be fun to do this... but sometimes it catches up to me.
i spend the vast majority of my evenings and weekends alone... movies, restaurants, community events, parties, you name it.

<<After such experiences I became "conditioned" to expect the same treatment from all girls. Even to this day when a girl talks to me my first instinct is to panic wondering what humiliating thing she is trying to setup for the entertainment of her friends. It takes a great deal of effort for me to suppress these thoughts and feelings.>>
Girls at that age can be quite cruel and mean. If it's any consolation they are the ones who rarely find happiness once they become adults. They hold on to their mean ways and other adults want nothing to do with them.
So many posters that have met you in person have nothing but good things to say about you. Read them over and boost your self confidence.
<<"David, these are the best years of your life. ; Enjoy them while you can.".>>
Ugh. Thank goodness those were not my best years. You couldn't pay me to go thru all that again. I've had some good years but I believe my best are still ahead (or at least I really hope so!)
