  Tsumani, from other posts you have made it seems like a lot of pressure happens when when you classify it a 'date'. Why not just go and hang out, have a great time, and at the end of the night ask HER where she would like to go from there. If she wants to just be buddies thats ok, she probably has cute friends that would be perfect for you. I understand about being shy, I am too and it can be hard but it does get better as you get older.

  This is the advice I gave my ex-husband when he was panicing about dating again: Just relax! The right girl will come along and you will know that the moment is right. Now he has no prob. hooking up.

  as a wee damselfly in the late 70's/early 80's i loved the smurfs!

  i watched the show and had the coloring book and the little plastic figures.

  then some jw kid had a nightmare, it was taken as demonism and my smurfs were taken away!

  We couldn't watch Scooby Doo because it had ghosts.

  My mom told me that too and then added that she had heard that a little boy hung himself after watching it and she didn't want me to do the same.

  Yup and I have plans to jump off a bridge later too. For gods sake I was 5! I think that was too much information.

  i have been "lurking" here for a while and just wanted to share with those that would, maybe, understand what i go through sometimes.

  my dad's family were mostly all witnesses.

  my most vivid memories of my grandfather as a child were of his recording all of the assemblies (or conventions, as i suppose they are called now) and listening to them over and over.
