have any of you who were ever "raised in the truth" really traced your doubts back to as early as you remember?
i would be interested in hearing what they were.. i started tracing my path of doubts.

A bethel speaker at an assembly said, "Apostates and other opposers of truth will attempt to use LOGIC to persuade you that this isn't the Truth."
That is great! Apostates use LOGIC to reason but don't listen them! Listen to us, we use round about means to persuade you ! Don't question it 'cause it's God's word.

This really upsets me that this is on their website as a representation to the world that this is how they deal with the this wide spread problem!!!!!!
I would be shocked to meet a fellow JW/exJW where their abuse was handled in the above manner.

This breaks my heart.Of all the JW children & teenagers I know that were abused & molested, NONE got "tender treatment". They got told to shut up about the abuse, were denied proper counseling, shunned by the congregation as if they had done wrong. But the worse was being forced to the KH only to have your abuser sit down beside you or behind you and not have ONE person in that KH view it as wrong.

It's because I find it hard to simply believe any answer.
I hear ya ! I either don't believe anything unless it's slapped me in the head or I just accept it as true. Still searching for the middle ground there.

if your salary didn't follow the cost of living, where would you cut, to save money?.
Sadly, because I will be in school for the next few years ( 4 more ) paying my way without student loans, my wages don't cover my living costs. So my little game is what bill not to pay this month. As long as I rotate the bills all is good.

Hmm There is a bellydancing class offered every fall at my local community college. I shall become Damselfly the belly dancing fool! My mad mad skillz wish list is becoming longer.
