I'm off to the Big D!!!

i pick up the moving truck friday morning, load up and head out of ohio about 1 a.m. monday, which will get me to dallas monday evening.

Embarrassing moments at work
by damselfly ini think we need a fun fluffy thread today, so this is my attempt at starting one.
at work we have a big bathtub with air jets.
clients come in for a hydrobath, (hopefully remember their swimsuit 'cause i've seen so many naked people by now it's getting boring), leave and then, oh joy!, i get to clean the tub.

I think we need a fun fluffy thread today, so this is my attempt at starting one.At work we have a big bathtub with air jets. Clients come in for a hydrobath, (hopefully remember their swimsuit 'cause I've seen so many naked people by now it's getting boring), leave and then, oh joy!, I get to clean the tub.
The tub is huuuge and set out about 2 feet from the wall, it's also very deep, probably 3 feet. I was attempting to dry the bottom of it when I slipped on the wet floor and fell in. My legs were wedged between the tub and the wall and my elbow had managed to turn the cold water tap on. I couldn't get out!!! The water from the tap was making the bottom slippery, I couldn't move my legs 'cause the wall was there. Thank goodness another therapist had decided to be nice and help me clean, she turned off the tap and pulled me out. After the initial shock of "OMG! it's true, you could drown in the tub!", the giggles set in and there was a race to the bathroom so as not to pee my pants.
There are of course more stories about Damselfly's workplace misshaps, but I want to hear yours first.

annoying the JWs

yesterday i saw a couple of witnesses from my local kingdom hall offering out tracts right outside of a church, i knew i had to walk passed them and i didn't want to give them the satisfaction of ignoring me, so just to spite/shock them i walked straight into the church, stayed there for a few minutes then walked back out again.. has anyone ever done anything ridiculous or childish just to annoy them?

Trouble for Richie?
by RichieRich inso today, after the meeting, one of the elders from my jc walks up to me and my mother and asks if we had time to talk.
thankfully, i had to get to work, and mom wasn't feeling great.
we said today wasn't good.. so basiccally he said that he and another brother want to meet with us on wednsday night, after the tms, to "see how things are going".. so here's quandry:.

How do I celebrate birthdays? Or Xmas?
by Rayvin ini just recently started having b-days in the past couple of years for my kids.
they were a flop!i didn't know when to bring the cake out.. when to sing "happy b-day" or anything.
i felt like an idiot!only 3 kids showed up and no one elsed called to even say they weren't coming.

I'm clueless when it comes to stuff like this as well. I have friends that always got their favourite meal on their B'day. As far as the cake I think that can come out whenever and just sing as you're carrying it?Make up your own traditions for Christmas. Some families let the kids open a gift on the night before. Others let the kids wake up early and tear into the stockings before everyone is up.
I turn into a 4 year old on my b'day and christmas, I love it!
