  Any JWs that accepted blood and got reinstated?

  for the fds having a blood transfusion is very a serious sin, but do you know any cases where jws lapsed and took blood and were later reinstated or is it an unwritten law that this can never happen?

  in theory a jw could say: i will take a transfusion to save my life and then i will repent, surely this is not as bad as adultery and see how many adulterers get reinstated.

  in practice i never heard this happen jws either refuse blood and die or accept it get dfed and stay out.

  I remember being terrified as kid about needing a transfusion. I finally decided if I ever did need a transfusion that I would take it and then be repentant. Thank goodness I was a healthy kid and it never happened,

  Depression

  okay, so this isn't long-term (i hope) horrible depression, just....a bad couple of days.

  i'm taking suggestions on how to pull out of it.

  The sun and exercise are great ideas that often work for me. I will watch my favorite movies and take bubble baths, give myself a pedicure. Hot pink nailpolish has amazing healing powers.

  Positive thinking is also something I do a lot of. Write down what you like about yourself or what you would like to be. Tape it to your mirror and repeat it to yourself.

  Feel like a failure

  i feel like an emotional wreck right now.

  i am on my way to a third divorce.

  i can't put up with my spouse for much longer, he's so dysfunctional.

  Divorce is tough and I'm sorry that you are in the process.

  Now what's this about feeling like a failure? Look at the postives here. You say you've got 3 good kids, that is a major success story right there!! Plus you are actively looking out for their financial interests by ensuring the credit in your name stays good. By getting out a dysfunctional relationship you are protecting yourself and your children as well as setting an example for their future. All that doesn't seem like failure to me.

  I do the same thing of rushing into a relationship because I don't want to be alone, lead to all sorts of problems down the road. If anyone knows how to stay single and happy I'd like that info too.

  a few hours ago i went to put some fuel in my motor and used my debit card to pay as i always do.

  "sorry sir, your card has been declined".

  how embarrasing is that?!

  It's scary stuff. I had my GST cheque stolen from my mailbox a few years back. It took forever to get that straightned out. I ckecked my account after your post, Yup that $1.39 is still there.

  Dams, how would you react if you were to try something like that and the guy totally ignores it? Would he be an a$$hole for not falling for your damseliciousness?

  That has never happened. I don't know what I would do. Pull out the lipgloss and try again? LMAO!!

  tattoo is in progress

  the first one is of an infinity symbol, basically the belief that everything will come full circle.
