I can't believe I did it again!
by damselfly infor the second time in as many weeks i have left the lights on in the car and drained the battery.
the first time was technically my boyfriend's fault.
he drove to work and i dropped him off and went home, didn't realize the lights were on and well, there you go.

Okay here's an update.
He came home to help me out and looked me straight on the eye and said very seriously, "This is what you do next time......" (I'm listening very attentively because I do NOT want to have to call him ever again about this.) "You pick up the phone and call the short bus" he continues. Bastard! lol.
So he's in a hurry and hooks the booster cables up incorrectly! Now it really won't start and he's apologizing to me for killing the car. Tee Hee once again the car is dead but now it's NOT my fault. *angelic smile*
The sandwiches were good though. :-)

In the spirit of match-making, who do you have a crush on?
by MsMcDucket ineh heh?
i know this is either going to be one of those topics where people consider it a popularity contest or something....i'm just being an imp and seeing if anyone will be forward enough to tell about the person that they would like to date.. me, i'm married so that leaves me out!
but i have seen a lot of beefcakes on here!

What keeps you from killing yourself?

Can Humming Improve Your Health?
by metatron indem idol-worshippin' hindoos' was right!.
initially, i thought this was a joke when i first heard of it but apparently, there are good medical studies showing that humming boosts.
nitric oxide release and can effectively clear sinus problems.

Who has Tattoos?
by Good Girl or Bad Girl? inhey y'all,.
how many of you have tattoos, and if so what are they?
what is the meaning, if any, behind them?
-
damselfly
Hey GGBG, no problem ;-)
<<Thanks, Damselfly, for having this be your username and thus indirectly inspiring me to think about what they represent. :)>>
That is what my planned tattoo is going be. If I ever get around to getting it done that is.
I love the meaning behind the damselfly and the dragonflies, they are all over my house.

Okay he's on his way to boost it for me.
I'm leaving out the "can't figure out how to pop the hood" part.
And I'm making sandwiches! Can't get mad if there's sandwiches! LOL

Oh Nic! I know!!
There was also the time I attempted to drive to a staff X.mas party but the car wouldn't start. Not to worry a friend drove us there so we wouldn't be late. Yay for friends ;-) We thought the battery was dead so he drove us back at the end of the party to do that. Turns out that no one had booster cables so we were going to have to call a towtruck. Expensive.
My boyfriend says Lets try it on more time. I jump in and turn the key and the *#!$ thing starts right up!!.
Did you know that if the gear isn't completely in "park" that it won't start? I do now. **BIG SIGH** I got teased for that for months! Months!!

<<Or maybe train the boyfriend to turn off the lights when he exits the car. You don't use them except when it's dark, by the sounds of it, so he should be responsible for shutting off lights that he turns on.>>
This is what I tried to tell him last time. I have never left the lights on when I have turned them on. I don't really want to blame him this is entirely my fault. I think I should just have a personal driver though. A hot personal driver.

Yeah, what Nic said too.
I always think, Well this has GOT to be as bad as it will ever get, if I can handle this then I can handle anything. You know?
